Experiences of LA students (Dec. 2018)
Market for accomodation is pretty packed – LA students have good experiences
to apply early for student accomodation or come for a couple of days during July
/ August to fix private accomodation
Most times private accomodation goes through agencies
Private shared rooms / appartments start by 600 GBP – approx 800 GBP if
central & higher standard
Napier student accomodation starts by 450 GBP for a shared room (2 beds)
and 600 GBP for a single room (Apply early!)

What is the difference between a Bachelor and a Bachelor (Hons) degree?
Joining the 3rd year: Bachelor degree (120 ECTS – depending on an individual
agreement 115 ECTS accepted to start with)
Joining the 4th year: Bachelor (Hons) degree (150 ECTS – depending on an
individual agreement 145 ECTS accepted to start with)
Upon individual agreements students can also join with 120 ECTS the final
year and receive a Bachelor (Hons)
From a German perspective the difference between a Bachelor and a Bachelor
(Hons) is less relevant!
