Director’s Note Winnie the Pooh has always been one of my favorites. I can so relate to a character whose priorities in life are to eat and be a good friend. Ha! But I think I appreciate the characters even more the older I get. Pooh’s signature quotes - I’m sure you’re familiar with several - are the most satisfying blend of eloquent, silly, and empathetic. All in a series of children’s books! Adults can only hope to be so easily articulate. On the first day of this intensive, I came home so excited about these students. They are all so well-spoken, smart, and willing. Not to mention, putting on a musical with seven days of rehearsal is no small feat. It takes the perfect balance of hard-working and easy-going individuals. I’m so proud of what they have accomplished, and you should be too. Sincerely, Elea
