May 19-Graduation Ticket pick up (2) per Graduate.
MAY 26- Virtual Awards Night.
Graduation Sunday June 6, 2021.

Session 2 at 5 pm K-Z.

Attention ENL Club:
We will have one final ENL Club Game Night in the Freshman Cafe on Tuesday, May 25,
3:30-5:30 pm.

If you are still interested in running in the ENL Club Officer election, you will need to
speak to Miss Czuba as soon as possible. Since we cannot meet as a whole group for
this election, candidates will be using Flipgrid to introduce themselves and explain the
qualities, experiences, reasons why they should get your vote.

Thursday, May 27th, 10:30-10:45, there will be an ENL Club meeting to elect next
year's officers. See ENL Club Google Classroom for Google Meet code. This will be a
virtual meeting where you will have the opportunity to hear from the
individual candidates running and then have the opportunity to vote.

Student of the Week:
This week's MHS student of the week is London Harvey. London is a freshman and was
nominated by staff for having an incredibly positive attitude, encouraging others, and
always being kind. Congratulations London!

The yearbook is looking for photos for two special senior spreads. One reflects on
your time here at MHS, and the other tells us what your plans are for the future. Please
use the Google forms below to attach a photo and text. Thank you! The deadline is

Attention all Students, this is a reminder that this year’s debt
must be paid in full.
Please have your parent’s check their skyward account for any
debts you may have, Book Rental, Media Center, and Food
Service, and Athletics or call the correct
department to get your amount owed Thank you.

 If you have borrowed a chrome book or charger, remember to turn it in to Technology
asap!

Miss Carol and Ms. Keown are available by appointment only for in-person and virtual

tossed salad, fruit, milk
Tuesday’s Breakfast- Maple Pancakes or Pop tart, apple juice, milk

The Merrillville Schools Food Services in partnership with Domino’s pizza will be
serving a Smart Slice of Domino’s pizza on Mondays and Fridays. Pepperoni pizza will
be served on Mondays (cheese pizza will be available upon request for those who
cannot eat pork) and Cheese Pizza will be served on Fridays. All pizzas are delivered
hot and fresh from Dominos just prior to each lunch period. There will still be a second
lunch choice available each day. Fruits and milk are included and all lunches to
students are free of charge.

Students who eat in the Freshman Cafe at lunch should leave backpacks at their table.
Backpacks are not allowed in the serving line area.
