Organizational Development Support Build relationship and negotiate with other MCPs about country partnerships, track organizational goals and indicators, ensure conferences are being used Planning correctly, ensure alignment of MCVPs on the strategy for LC development and support, support the Organize the process of planning, build and development of strategies for positioning to implement tracking systems and decision stakeholders. making process, track, review, and coach MCVPs on the strategic plan, support on External Relations budgeting and financial decision making. Represent AIESEC in Brazil as an entity on events and meetings, track MC main accounts, go on sales and Team Management manage some of the account support on product development and on the strategy for external relations Build and implement management tools and principles. Organize and run MC Team Governance Days, align and coordinate MCVPs during Manage Supervisory Group Chair, send reports and conferences and events, run MC weekly implement outputs from SG Meetings, make Meetings, ensure all MCVPs have a correct constitution and compendium be followed accordingly, plan and job description, run HR processes facilitate and participate on CSN meetings, deliver all in the MC requirements for country membership criteria.
The MC Office and House are located in São Paulo at Vila Mariana. At the office you have access to scanner, phone, internet access and other utilities. This role does not provide a dedicated phone or computer, you must bring your own. You will live with the MC Team at our House, located within a 10 minutes walk from our office. You will share your bedroom and common areas with people that will mark your life and ensure an outstanding job for AIESEC in Brazil. The MC term starts in August and goes until the end of July 2021. However, you must be in Brazil in the beggining of may for MC transition. The MC Benefits also include: Biweekly maid to clean office and house. General hygiene products, basic food supplies, all rent and bills of the MC house and health insurance. The MC Salary as of december 4rd is R$1.980,25, yielding enough money to sustain your year as MCP of AIESEC in Brazil.
Based on the current AIESEC in Brazil’s compendium, only AIESEC members or alumni bearing Brazilian citizenship or permanent visa are able to apply for presidency of AIESEC in Brazil. The applications must be sent to the Mateus Porto (MCP 19.20) at mateus.porto@aiesec.net and Brites (Election Manager) at joao.brites@aiesec.net. You will receive your confirmation email within 24 hours. Before the presential election process at CONAL 2020, candidates must participate in a chat with the LCPs and an presential interview in São Paulo. Save these dates! MCP Application (zip/rar) A Succesful application consists of a .rar or .zip file including a total of seven documents in .pdf Complete Questionnaire (pdf) All questions must be answered and contained within • One completely answered questionnaire a 10 pages pdf document • One Proposal Summary (with link for the video presentation) • One Black Page Challenge Proposal Summary (pdf) • Four endorsements letters Summarize your main proposals in one page After completing the application package, send it the rar/zip file Presentation Video: to the current MCP at mateus.porto@aiesec.net and to the Link for the a YouTube video introducing yourself, your election manager at joao.brites@aiesec.net AIESEC experience, why are you applying and your main proposals in a creative way. The nomination process will happen between January 8th and 10th and consist of one or more interviews made with all applicants by the current MCP and a board of non-AIESECers, such as people from the supervisory group or MCP alumni. This proceess aim to evaluate the candidates in their abilities to lead an organization, manage large teams and represent AIESEC externally. The technical output of this stage, created by the external representatives of the interviewing committee, will be provided to the LCPs that are present in the Election Process in CONAL. All applicants will go through this phase of the election process. But in case of 5 or more valid applicants, this phase may be eliminatory All the details about the nomination process will be released until January 5th.
To better standardize communication and provide equal exposure to all viable candidates, there are certain communication guidelines that all applicants must comply during the whole process as established on the example and benchmark of the PAI election procedures Applicants are not to use their personal social media to promote their own application proposals, strategies or propaganda. They may not promote their application to the AIESEC network outside of the means provided by the process. After the applicants are validated they will be allowed, for a to be specified time period, usage of the brazilian MC Social Media accounts to better showcase their application and proposals. Applicants are also allowed no more than two emails for the brazilian AIESEC network across their whole process, as long as the election manager is also in copy joao.brites@aiesec.net . Starting on January 9th all MCP applicants must enter a silent period to ensure complete focus on the process, encouraging applicants to show their full potential during the election process. In this period they are not allowed to communicate with any other AIESEC member regarding the ongoing MCP Process and may refrain from network communication and network management obligations during this period.
Provide the following information in your application questionnaire: • Full name • Skype • Most recent role in AIESEC • Phone number • Email Present relevant past positions and roles you held inside and outside of AIESEC. Please write dates, position, organization, description of the role, key activities and results achieved. Rank the three areas in which you have the most expertise and describe your experiences in each. Describe the main leadership experience you had and what was the leadership pipeline you left.
1. Please introduce yourself with 5 keywords and explain them based on your experiences in life. 2. Who are you? Why are you standing for MCP 2020/2021 of AIESEC in Brazil? How will success look like for you on July 31th 2021? 3. How would you describe your future MC team? What are the profile that you want to choose for your MC and for what are going to be remembered as a team?
4. What does it mean to be an AIESEC member nowadays? Describe what behaviors, beliefs and mindsets you want to bring to the AIESEC in Brazil network culture until the end of your term and how are you going to do this change management. 5. Describe how do you want to work with our main partners in each region of the world: Americas, AP, Europe and MEA. What is the role that AIESEC in Brazil should have in terms of IR and Global Positioning to the world? 6. How do you see AIESEC in Brazil financial context today? Make an analysis about it. What are the developments in terms of external relations, internal management and benchmarks that you believe are needed now?
7. How do you want work with the LCPs during your term? Describe your main ideas for touchpoints with CSN Golaço (LCPs 2020) and what are the main synergies between MC and LCPs that you see for your term. 8. Analyze the past 5 years of AIESEC performance globally. What are the trends and your main insights? What are the main changes in terms of product management that you want to bring for AIESEC in Brazil and how will we grow in #APD, #RE and #CO, in all operations? 9. Create a possible MC Structure for the MC 20/21. Describe the 3 most important synergies of the team and how the structure you are proposing will work for your main ambition as MCP. Also describe what is the role that you want your management team to have. 10. What bothers you the most about the organization today? How are you going to start to change that during your term, while making sure that AIESEC in Brazil is sustainable in both financial & organizational terms for terms beyond 20/21?
