The studio has been full of excited dancers and costumes over the
past few weeks. Spring Showcase marks the end of our 2020-2021
school year and we were so excited to see the dancers dressed up
and dancing!
This year everyone will receive an email with links to download and
watch all the showcase dances once Whitecap media has had a
chance to prepare them for you! You can share this download with
family and friends so they too, can see your dancer

We all love summer and anticipate this season each year in the Pacific Northwest! Studio West stays busy in
our air conditioned studios with many different class offerings for our youngest students to our most ad-
vanced. Dancing during the summer is a great way to stay active, progress your technique, and try new clas-

BOOT CAMPS for Ballet Levels 3-8 and Hip Hop Levels 2-5
After a few weeks off, this is a great way to tune up your bodies before you head into Summer session!
Ballet
Advanced (Levels 5-8) Monday, June 14-Thursday, June 17
Intermediate (Levels 3-4) Monday, June 21-Thursday, June 24
Hip Hop Monday, June 28-Thursday, July1
Intermediate (Levels 2 & 3) 4-6pm,
Advanced (Levels 4 & 5) 6:15-8:15pm
DANCE WORKSHOPS for Ages 4-11
Join us for a fun way to experience dance! With two special workshops and a morning or afternoon session
to choose from, children ages 4-11 are sure to have a great time!
Neon Grooves Dance Workshop—June 21-24 with a hip hop/jazz focus. Two sessions to choose from.
10:30am-12pm (ages 4-7)or
1-2:30pm (ages 8-11)
Enchanted Dance Workshop—June 28-July 1 with a ballet and tap focus.
Two sessions to choose from: 10:30am-12pm or 1-2:30pm (ages 4-7)
SUMMER SESSION**
Our Summer Session begins on Tuesday, July 6th and will run through August 21st. With a short session, this is
the perfect opportunity for your dancer to try a different style of dance. Summer session has a one-time, non
-refundable registration of $15.
SUMMER INTENSIVE PROGRAM (Ballet Levels 1-8)**
No need to fly, drive or stay away from home to experience a quality summer intensive. This 7-week program
begins July 6 and runs through August 21st focusing on correct technique and practice. Studio West offers
pre-professional instruction and well rounded class line up.
**Our seven-week summer session starts on July 6, 2021! The first Monday, July 5th is a holiday, so all July 5th
classes will be moved to Friday, July 9th. Monday classes will be held as normal starting July 12th.

To all of our amazing families – your continued resilience and flexibility
SWDA Summer Session this year has been astounding! It has been a gift, even if sometimes
through screens, to watch our dancers grow and adapt throughout the
August 19 pandemic. These times have reinforced the importance of self-
