Welcome to K-Day 2018
We are delighted to be hosting this event once again and it is with great pleasure
that we welcome our guests, visitors and participants to DSG.
K-Day is always eagerly anticipated and has become an important social event
on our schools’ calendar, giving us the opportunity to reconnect with old friends,
develop new friendships and strengthen the bonds of camaraderie between our
schools.
We also warmly welcome the DSG and St Andrew’s College class of 2008 and trust
that you will enjoy the events of K-Day as part of your ten-year Reunion.
We thank the many coaches and staff for their commitment in preparing their teams;
without their ongoing energy and enthusiasm, the weekend’s programme would not
be possible. In addition, we thank the administrative, grounds and catering staff for
their significant contribution to the success of the weekend.

Seating:
Please respect the signs reserving seating for the pupils of DSG and
Kingswood College.
Parking:
Parking is available on the street frontage around the schools. There is also
parking at the Rhodes Barratt parking lot opposite the DSG Aquatic Centre.
F ood and B ev erages:
The DSG tuckshop is situated in the Aquatic Centre
Food court is in front of the Aquatic Centre.
Toilets:
DSG – at the Aquatic Centre, Carnac and Hodgson classroom blocks and
the DSG Junior School.
Lunch:
Food court and DSG tuckshop will offer boerewors rolls, pies, cooldrinks,
chips etc.
The Highlander has a more comprehensive a la carte menu.
PLEASE NOTE:
alcohol is allowed on the fields. This will be enforced by the
security personnel and we would appreciate your co-operation in
this regard.
DSG cannot be held responsible for losses due to theft. Please
take care to lock your vehicle and take necessary precautions to
ensure the safety of your belongings at all times.

the K-Day weekend.

This great sporting weekend is always eagerly anticipated and it has become a wonderful
social event on the Eastern Cape calendar. It is an opportunity to reconnect with old friends,

We welcome the St Andrew’s College class of 2008 as they return to Grahamstown. We trust
that they will enjoy the events of K-Day as part of their ten year reunion weekend.

Knowling Field, weather permitting.
Tuckshops:
The St Andrew’s Prep tuckshop is situated in the clubhouse on Fairlawn
field. The St Andrew’s College tuckshop (Lads’ Corner) is situated opposite
the Clock Tower, above Upper Field.
Toilets:
St Andrew’s Prep – in the clubhouse on Fairlawn Field.
St Andrew’s College – in and below the Clapham Jubilee Hall, at The
Highlander, also below the basketball courts, adjacent to Lower Field.

Lunch:
Pies, hotdogs, sandwiches, chips etc. are available from the tuckshop.
