Summer Series Launch - JOSEPH
Life cannot be neatly categorized. Rather, it is more like a
tossed salad of tragedies and triumphs, profanity and purity,
despair and hope. The bad stands next to the good. Perhaps
the only thing we can conclude about the consistency of life
is its inconsistency. Life is often like a roller coaster of ups
and downs.
The life of Joseph is a visible reminder that God is in control. He experienced the depths of des-
pair, from being hated by his brothers and being falsely imprisoned. Despite all that, Joseph re-
mained faithful to God. God’s purposes were being fulfilled throughout Joseph’s life. The life of
Joseph in the Old Testament is a case study in how God turns trials into triumph.

New Children’s Ministry Director
Please join us in welcoming Sara Hughes as our new Director of Children’s
Ministry. She comes to Stone Creek with many years of experience in youth,
children’s and worship ministries. She’s an Oregon native who lives in Aurora
with her husband of 27 years and their children. Her varied interests include
gardening, reading, art and music. She was raised in a Christian home and while in college
finally realized that Jesus had done everything she needed to be right with God. She is looking
forward to meeting everyone and helping our children build a strong foundation based on the
teachings of Jesus.
Sunday Kid’s Programming
Children (nursery-6th grade) are discovering the love of Jesus in a fun and safe environment
during our 11:00 AM service. We offer interactive fun activities including worship, crafts, a
Bible-based lesson and more!

our GreifShare ministry. She has lived through heart-breaking loss and uses her personal
experience to guide others. Her next GriefShare session will be starting in the fall. If you
