Announcements Today we celebrate the Baptism of the Lord. The celebration of the incarnation is past, and the implications of that incarnation continue. Today we begin a 6-week series Out of Deep Unordered Water – God is Still Creating. As the world turns toward a time when the pandemic will be tamed, we will ask, “Where is God doing a new thing?” Where is God doing a new thing in us, in the Church, by healing and restoring to wholeness? What new world is coming to be in Jesus? These are the questions before us for the next six weeks. As we explore God’s new creation out of the chaos of these last months, we ask, “Who do we want to be on the other side of this?” The Annual Congregational Meeting will be Sunday, January 31, 11am, via ZOOM. We’ll gather virtually to elect elders to serve on Session, to elect the 2021 Congregational Nominating Committee, to receive the report of the Session concerning the 2021 budget, hear a report on the Organ Project, vote on any recommended changes on the Pastor’s terms of call, and conduct any other business that we like. If you prefer not to participate on video, you’ll be able to phone in. The link and phone number will be forthcoming. The Presbytery of Northern New England invites us to pray for Leeds Community Church, Leeds, ME, Rev. Steve Allman, Pastor.
