Rare wines accompaniment The Palais Coburg Wine Archive guards a unique collection of fine wines with approx. 60,000 bottles from several centuries stored in the medieval cellars of Vienna’s former town fortification. Each of the six wine cellars of Palais Coburg is distinguished by its own independent characteristics and architecture, special focus and ideal climate for great wines. The Palais Coburg wine list with 6,000 varieties was named the “World’s Best Wine List” (World of Fine Wine) in 2014 & 2017, the “Best Wine List in Europe” (World of Fine Wine) in 2015 and “Best Wine list of the Year” (Falstaff Magazine) in 2016. For Christmas these six cellars will present their treasures for a unique wine pairing with great, rare wines. This special occasion will provide the one-of-a-kind opportunity to taste several great and rare by the glass in one evening. Our sommeliers will arrange an exciting succession of great wines.
