Y O G A & AY U R V E D I C C O O K I N G We will practice yoga and meditation daily to help to expand our consciousness and to open us up to the subtleties of the Ayurvedic way of cooking. The wisdom of Ayurveda will be practically experienced through Ayurvedic cooking workshops and presentations. You will receive a source of inspiration for your daily meals coupled with a clear understanding of our deep functioning. Yoga & Meditation We will start each day with a mindfulness practice aimed at connecting us with Nature, followed by a dynamic yoga class. The morning practice will focus on the joy of moving and bring a sense of lightness, groundedness and enhanced concentration to the start of your day. Through breathing exercises and the activation of the core muscles we will experience physically what we later explore in our workshops. The afternoon offers a gentler, restorative practice focused on balancing our nervous system and mind. The classes can be adapted to any level from beginners to more seasoned practitioners. Ayurvedic Seasonal Cooking Mention of Ayurvedic Cooking conjures up beautiful images replete with colours, aromas, textures and spices. Behind this abundance lies a strong scientific foundation and ancient wisdom that provides the practical tools for us to live with lightness, health and strength. Together we will prepare certain meals, taking the time to understand the process of vitality, fluidity and youth and how to cook according to our inherent nature. As we move from Winter to Spring, particular attention will be paid to managing seasonal changes.
