COMPETITION:         The teams from the respective countries are made up of:
                       President or Vice President or Representative
                       Flair Bartender
                       Rookie

ELIGIBILITY:         The participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of the competition.

GETTING THERE:       The participants are responsible for organising and paying for their own travel to the
                     event. The event organiser is happy to provide details about travelling to and from the
                     event. The DBU arranges a shuttle service from and to the airport or train station.

ACCOMMODATION:       The German Bartenders‘ Union, DEHOGA Baden-Württemberg and Landesmesse Stutt-
                     gart shall cover the accommodation and catering costs of the participants and guests.

RULES:               Category:         Open (no categorisation)
                     Glasses:          Free selection of glasses (no glasses with labels or branding)
                     Preparation:      Three (3) identical drinks must be prepared.
                     Time: 			         10 (ten) minutes incl. set-up and disassembly and presentation
                     Trimmings:        Must be edible and can only be made or put together in the 15-minute
                     				              preparation time at the competition.
                     Decoration:       Other decorative elements (e.g. by side) are allowed.
                     Volume:           Min. 7 cl – max. 35 cl incl. dashes & drops
                     				              Ingredients in full cl (e.g. 1 cl, 2 cl, 3 cl, etc.)
                     				              or in half cl (z.B. 0,5 cl, 1,5 cl, 2,5 cl etc.)
                     				              The smallest unit is a dash or drop.

                     No more than 7 cl alcohol
                     No more than 6 ingredients (incl. dashes + drops)
                     Trimmings added directly to the glass, i.e. to the drink, count as an ingredient.

                     Flavour sprays are not allowed.
                     Homemade liqueurs, syrups, jams, etc., are not allowed.

                     Portfolio:        The participants can work with all products made available to them and
                     				              must bring everything themselves. Selective support is possible after
                     				              consultation with the tournament committee.

THE COMPETITION IS ASSESSED IN FOUR SECTIONS:

1. ATTENDANCE OF TWO        1.1.		 Masterclass I
MASTERCLASSES
                            1.2.		 Masterclass II
                            			 Participants: Bartenders and Flair Bartenders – Points are awarded for attending
                            			masterclasses.

2. NOSING TEST              2.1.		 Detection of five different liquids in 10 minutes
                            			 Participants: Bartenders and Flair Bartenders

3. SPEEDROUND               3.1.		   Five, previously defined drinks/cocktails must be prepared as quickly and
                            			      neatly as possible. The drinks and their recipes are sent after registration.
                            			      Participants: President/Vice President or Representative and Flair Bartender.
                            			      The team decides on this task.

4. INDIVIDUAL DRINK         4.1.		Bartender
PRESENTATION                			 Individual drink creation – „Open“ category
                            			 10-minute presentation on stage with headset in English + produce and present
                            			 3 identical drinks

                            4.2.		Flairbartender
                            			 Individual drink creation – Individual flair show (IBA rules)
                            			 5-minute presentation of exhibition flair on stage + produce and present
                            			 3 identical drinks. Originality gives extra points!
