Qualifications:
An approved 2019 WTF Global License (WTF Global Athlete License OR Global Official
License) is required by all athletes and officials who wish to register for the 2017 Fujairah Open.
WTF Global license registrations & renewals can only be made through the WTF recognized
Member National Associations and application should be made at least 2 months before the
Tournament starts to ensure the WTF license can be processed and approved in time.
There will be NO WTF Global License registration onsite.
Senior should be Black Belt Only
Junior Black Belt and Color Belt (Black Belt Junior Division and Color Belt Junior Division)

Competition Rules: For cadets, juniors and seniors we are using the latest WT
Competition rules.

Juniors 15 years up to 17 (2002, 2003, 2004)
Cadets 12 years up to 14 (2005, 2006, 2007)

Senior Female: -46, -49, -53, -57, -62, -67, -73, +73.
Junior Male: -45, -48, -51, -55, -59, -63, -68, -73, -78, +78.
Junior Female: -42, -44, -46, -49, -52, -55, -59, -63, -68, +68.
Cadet Male: -33, -37, -41, -45, -49, -53, -57, -61, -65, +65.
Cadet Female: -29, -33, -37, -41, -44, -47, -51, -55, -59, +59.

Note: This 2 Category will have friendly matches will not use the PSS System.Protective Equipment & Uniform:
The participants shall wear the WT recognized Taekwondo Uniform.
Daedo GEN2 will be used at this Tournament and will be provided by the OC. All
athletes must bring their own Dado PSS sensor socks. In case of necessity the sensor
socks will also be for sale at the Sport Hall during the registration.
Groin/Forearm/shin guards and Gloves are must be brought by the contestants. Head
Gear will be provided by OC (Electronic head gear).

Registration is only accepted through the WT GMS Event Registration
system https://worldtkd.simplycompete.com
And registration is only possible with a valid 2019 WT Global License. The following
documents are required for all participants to be uploaded and
Approved by the National Federation and WT before you can register your team
through the WT Event Registration System.

Global License.

REGULAR REGISTRATION FEES: The participants completing their registration during this
period will be charged the regular registration fee. Payment needs to be done onsite in
cash in USD.
Senior Athletes Free of Charge.

The visa request excel form Form available at GMS website under “Documents” section.

ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORTATION
The participating teams are required to submit the hotel reservation only via the WT GMS
registration system – worldtkd.simplycompete.com by no later than January 25, 2019. No
other registration method will be accepted. The hotel information is available on the WT
GMS platform.
Please watch video below on HOW to register your team’s accommodation and flight
details (for transportation) HERE.
Once you (your Team Admin) register your team`s accommodation detail on the WT
GMS you need to wait to receive an official invoice from Organizing Committee with the
total amount to pay before paying the total to the bank account of OC.
Ground transportation will be provided for national teams on arrival and departure free of
charge, only for teams who book via the WT GMS booking platform and include the date,
time, airline & flight number of the national team’s arrival and departure at the latest by
the designated deadline (January 25, 2019).
Daily local transportation is also provided in Fujairah between official hotels and venue
for athlete training, registration, head of team meeting and competition days.
