Summary Product Proposition ● The UK government committed to the reopening of safe, secure international travel, from 17 May. ● NHSX have launched both digital and non-digital certification solutions to allow English individuals to show their NHS COVID Pass for the purposes of international travel. ● From 25 June, Welsh residents are able to use the the web based solution offered by NHS COVID Pass to access a PDF version of their COVID status. ● Residents of Scotland and Northern Ireland have been using their own non-digital letter request solutions. Northern Ireland launched their COVIDCert NI App on 23 July. Scotland is aiming to launch a digital solution in September. ● By mid August, residents in all four nations of the UK will be able to request a vaccination letter with a common format showing each nations’ health service logos (there will be minor differences in some of the text in the letters). ● The England and Wales products show vaccination and immunity status. COVIDCert NI Released 23 July Security features: 1. Detailed vaccination records and recovery certificates inline with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and EU specifications for digital COVID-19 certification. 2. 2D barcodes, with scope to increase functionality as international standards develop. 3. The certificate page has a holographic HSC logo which adds an extra layer of security.
