History & Location • Established in 1949 and upholding over 65 years of heritage Horse of the Year Show maintains its supremacy as one of the most renowned equestrian sporting events. • Centrally located at the NEC, Birmingham in the UK with 19.5 million people within 90 minutes. • Adjacent to the Birmingham International Airport, Horse of the Year Show can welcome international visitors with ease. Riding Horse of the Year • Introduced to the Horse of the Year Show timetable in 1986, the Riding Horse is a prestigious and renowned class and an established part of the timetable. • Around 800 horse/rider combinations try to qualify for their chance to contest either the Small or Large Riding Horse of the Year at Horse of the Year Show, making this class a well supported year round. • The Small and Large riding horse competitors compete for the top two places in their section in order to challenge to be crowned the Riding Horse Champion later on in the day on the popular afternoon performance. • This sponsorship package provides you with the opportunity to entertain guests in hospitality overlooking the Andrews Bowen International Arena, alongside attending the show for the duration with individual sponsor badges. Cob of the Year • Part of the Horse of the Year Show timetable since 1949, the Cob of the Year is a prestigious and renowned Championship taking place on Saturday of the Show. • Throughout the 2016 season over 830 horse/rider combinations tried to qualify for their chance to contest either the Lightweight or Heavyweight Cob of the Year at Horse of the Year Show, making this class a well supported year round sponsorship opportunity with naming rights across the qualification series. • The Lightweight and Heavyweight Cob competitors compete for the top two places in their section in order to challenge to be crowned the Cob of the Year Champion later on in the day on the popular Saturday evening performance. • This sponsorship package provides you with the opportunity to entertain guests in hospitality overlooking the Andrews Bowen International Arena, alongside attending the show for the duration with individual sponsor badges.
