Actuaries for Actuaries To support the valuable Bursary Program of the International Actuarial Association, the DAV launched the charity campaign “Actuaries For Actuaries” in order to enable even more actuaries from emerging countries to attend the ICA 2018. Actuaries worldwide participated and helped to raise funds for the project. In total, 12,000 euros were collected and 3 additional bursaries could be funded. “I am 100,000” In 2018, the actuarial associations of the world will reach the impressive number of 100,000 members world- wide. Therefore, to celebrate this mi- lestone for the actuarial community as part of the International Congress of Actuaries 2018 in Berlin, the prize draw “I am 100,000” was created to find and honor an actuary who is re- presenting his or her colleagues from all over the world. The prize draw was very popular – more than 800 selfies with the “I am 100,000” logo were sent in to par- ticipate in the prize draw. The lucky winner is Ntando from Swaziland.
