Freshmen Checklist Useful links at a glance Complete your enrolment: You have received your admission letter? Great! If applicable, pay the tuition fee of 1,500 EUR. Check your fee letter issued by the university's admissions office. Tips for a Successful Start 1 You still have no idea about your programme’s structure, examinations and study regulations? Having a lot of questions at the beginning of your studies is very normal. Don’t hesitate to ask whenever you have a question. Your programme coordinators, classmates, lecturers or study advisory service staff – they are all there for you during your time at Reutlingen University (see page 12). 3 Get involved! There are many student groups which you are welcome to join. IB has its own IB vision and StuCo (student committee) groups where you can meet fellow students from higher semesters and get involved in a range of activities. You will get more information on these groups during the orientation days. This diverse extracurricular programme allows you to gain complementary skills and competences as an add-on to your regular degree programme. Courses range from foreign languages, intercultural communication, ethics and sustainability to professional development classes. Campus Guide Who is in charge of what and whom can I contact in case I have an inquiry? Find a list of oikos important institutions, student associations and service offices on campus below: Oikos is an international student organisation which is concerned with sustainability in the economy, research and society. The sustainability goup oikos Reutlingen aims to open new AStA perspectives on the topic of sustainability and to extend students’ knowledge about it. The letters "AStA” denote the General Student Committee of the University. The Student Parliament represents the students, their opinions and their rights and can pass “laws”. The ASTA is Ethical and sustainability programme made up of five members who administer the daily business of the student body.
