East Hill Quiet and Conveniently Located ABOUT EAST HILL East Hill is a great neighborhood to consider for those wanting to live close to campus but in a more secluded and residential neighborhood. You won't find much nightlife here, so the area tends to stay quiet. That said, it's not very far from some of the more social neighborhoods so you won't 'miss out' by living here. There's a solid amount of graduate students who live in a selection of luxury apartment buildings in Downtown. The walk to class is a bit longer, but students can speed up the commute by taking the TCAT (usually Route 10). There's no shortage of cafes, restaurants, etc. and it's extremely walk-able. On the flip side, expect a somewhat longer commute to class. The location is great: it is about a 15 minute bus ride away from the law school (5-7 minutes by car), and it is located right next to the best Korean mart in Ithaca.
