In October we will no program be presenting a collection of HSRT slides from the Pat White Collection which we have had digitally October 4th – Rockaway Twp preserved. There are quite a few slides, so we will Slide Show from the Pat White be doing a second presentation in the future. HSRT collection – Municipal In November we will be having Joel Farkas presenting his new program, “ The Pilgrims and the Courthouse Mayflower”. Keep in mind that this program will be November 1st – Speaker Joel held in the senior building. Farkas –The Pilgrims and the Masks are required for entrance to all municipal buildings. Mayflower – Senior Building The Society will possibly have an Open House in October, dependent on the upcoming construction project. We will be sending out a notice with the date. Jean Licker Curator

On July 20th Neil Armstrong was the first man to land on the moon, so it is no surprise that it was suggested naming the school after him. We are not sure how it happened, but the new Mt. The Hibernia Branch of the Rockaway Township Library reopened on Monday August 9th after being closed for more than a year. This building was purchased by the Lions Club in 1969 to serve Rockaway Township residents. Jeanette, Leanne and Melissa (not pictured) will be at the library to assist you!
