English Learner Programs Goal: By June 2021, the percentage of English Learners in grades 6-8 will increase the reclassification rate by 5% as measured in LAUSDs RRMR, from the current 2% to 7%. • Is the school on its way to meet last year’s reclassification goal ? Yes or No • If “yes,” identify the strategies that contributed most to meeting the goal. • If “no,” identify the main barriers that prevented the school from meeting its goal. • According to RI reports, in 2019-20 24% (19/77) of ELs scored Basic or higher in Reading Inventory (RI), compared to 2028-2019 in where 14% (12/85) had scored basic or higher in RI. This year 13/65 for 23% • Total 71 ELs * 6 students not eligible to test on Alt.
