Vision Statement-Why Do We Exist? High Point Elementary cultivates compassionate, knowledgeable, and inquiring learners who impact a diverse global community.
Pre-K = 31 Kinder = 75 1st Grade = 100 Talented and Gifted = 6% 2nd Grade = 94 English Language Learners = 17% 3rd Grade = 90 Students with Disabilities = 9% 4th Grade = 105 Economically Disadvantaged = 40.48% 5th Grade = 95 Total Enrollment = 590
Accomplishments Title I Distinguished School for GA Applied to become FY21 National NSEA Distinguished School This award for excellence is only awarded to two schools from each state. High Point was one of six Title I schools in Fulton county eligible to apply for this award based upon its ranking in the top 5% on the single 2019 CCRPI score.

What is a Title I school? Title I is a federally funded program designed to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic standards and state academic assessments. Schools qualify for Title I funds based on the school's percentage of students who meet the criteria to receive free or reduced lunch.

What is required by law for family engagement? Right to know professional Qualifications of Teachers and Paraprofessionals-100% of teachers are highly-qualified 1% of Title I School Allocation must be reserved for Parent Involvement Academic parent workshops Provide parents with information on school curriculum and student assessments and progress. Give parents the opportunity for input on district and school parent and family engagement programs.
