Guidelines for Summer Reading 2020
By participating in our summer reading program, you may earn **Lunch in the
Library** to be announced at the beginning of the fall semester.
Choose the grade level that you will enter in the fall of 2020 and read for the
number of books required as listed below. The attached lists are suggestions for
good books on grade level.
Record the books you read on the page provided and have one of your parents sign
the page verifying you have read the recorded books. Return your reading log
during the first week of school to your classroom teacher. The deadline will be
August 28, 2020.
Requirements:
Entering 1st
- 10 books (can be read together)
Entering 2nd
- 6 books
Entering 3rd
- 4 books (3 of them must be chapter books)
Entering 4th
- 5 books (4 of them must be chapter books)
Entering 5th
- 6 books (4 of them must be chapter books)
