January 5, 2020 9 TRAUMATIC LOSS GRIEF SUPPORT “THE JOURNEY” The journey through grief is never easy. Families and friends affected by a sudden violent death is especially traumatic. There is never “getting over it” however you can learn to live with what has happened and in time the intense pain subsides and some semblance of everyday life unfolds. Understanding and expressing these feelings helps survivors, and over time with the support of others, come to help and reconcile their loss. Our parish is pleased to be offering a 9 week program for those impacted by violent death through an accident, suicide, homicide, drunk driving or domestic violence. Applicants must RSVP to sign up for this program. Our 2020 Winter/Spring program begins: Sunday the 16th of February for 9 consecutive Sundays ending on Sunday, April 19th, from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. The dates are February 16th, 23rd, March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, April 5th, 19th Please email Brenda Luna at brenda@hnmparish.org or call 909-599-1243 ext. 137 to find out more about this program.
