Learning Animals Animality Roots Your study for human and other animals based on an antispeciesist ethology foundation Growing in a shared culture
Animality Roots | the new Learning Animals study study from an anti-‐speciesist ethology framework deconstruct speciesism preserve quality experiences in daily life Study from the Animality perspective: natural cognition, the social mind and the preservation of subjectivity Learning Animals has launched a unique new signature study: ANIMALITY ROOTS to facilitate the growing awareness and responsibility towards other animals, by offering a study framework to create an ethical compass for people from various backgrounds, various fields of (academic) knowledge, but all with the interest to built on a different knowledge, free from speciesism, training and other forms of animal objectification. Animality Roots gives you a knowledge foundation to grow and develop towards a reconstruction of knowledge – one that is not based on anthropocentric foundations and speciesist culture. #animalityrules This thrilling new study program is developed in its English-‐spoken edition as 6 Online study days (one day every three/four weeks) of full-‐ immersion in the Learning Animals socio-‐cognitive model of knowledge and learning. A fundamental basis of anti-‐speciesist ethology and of the socio-‐cognitive learning model as developed by evolutionary biologist, knowledge activist and anti-‐speciesist: Francesco De Giorgio [Learning Animals]. The program will take start on the 31st of October 2020. Cruelty free knowledge The increasing interest and growing responsibility for animal welfare and our relationship with animals requires, in more and more areas, knowledge of the relationship between humans and other animals, but also a better insight to understand how easily knowledge discrimination still takes place; hidden behind what seems to be captivating new study results, academic areas continue to embrace an anthropocentric usage and vision of other animals, instead of an evolution in our coexistence. This knowledge gap, nutered in particular by the knowledge from Animal studies who continuou to ignore animals as ‘subjects of their own experiences’ [Francesco De Giorgio] and the continuous focus on species-‐ specific behavior. A study leading to change Animality Roots creates the opportunity to be able to develop towards a different thinking and practical application in coexistence, not based on principales of utility or welfare, but an ethical compass, to learn how to preserve others for who they are.
Rediscover Animality A study that wiil also teach you how to literally move in a different way, rediscover ways of Animality movement, to return and re(dis)cover your own Animality and with that more cognitive dialogue with the world, and with the worlds of everyone you live with. Being yourself together [José De Giorgio] A powerful, transparent study, developed by Learning Animals – with the characteristic of the unique content, paradigm change and coherent between theory and practice, for which the study Institute and ithe founders Francesco and José De Giorgio are known. A journey of intriguing knowledge and inspiring reality, for a different way of looking and understanding our coexistence with other animals as well as of the world of our own experiences, emotions and cognition. To be able to emancipate in what seems to be a given reality of society, in order to find your own compass of evolution.
