The Southern Cross Hotel Offers unique outdoor and indoor spaces in an unpretentious environment for a range of social or corporate events. Whether you’re booking an intimate gathering for 20 people, or a large event for up to 250 guests, the Southern Cross Hotel will cater to all your needs, and provides options to suit any style or budget. Our venue boasts three function areas, specifically designed to suit every type of event. The three spaces offered are the main function room, the lower function room and the deck area. Not only will you have a gorgeous space to call your own, but the Southern Cross Hotel also offers a full time Functions Manager, to ensure your next event is nothing short of spectacular. Function Spaces Deck The outdoor verandah offers a unique ambience, including a water feature, timber furnishings, warm lighting & is surrounded by a lovely garden.This area is popular for summer time functions. Accommodation Accommodation is available for you and your guests boasting a variety of rooms, large marble en suites, state of the art televisions and amenities, plus floor to ceiling windows. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Booking Confirmation »» Bookings are only confirmed once the function agreement has been faxed back, and the booking fee has been paid »» Any booking which are being held tentative will be held for 7 days, at which point the venue holds the right to release the date »» Booking fee/Room hire is non refundable or deductible Payment »» To secure the Main Function Room for your event, a $200 booking fee must be paid »» To secure the Deck* for your event, a $500 booking fee must be paid (*90% of the Deck) »» Full payment for catering must be paid in full 7 days prior to your function »» In the case of bar tabs an agreement must be made between management and the host about an amount paid up front, with the remainder paid for at the conclusion of the event via cash or credit card »» A minimum spend will be discussed at time of booking, this minimum spend must be adhered to Cancellation »» If a cancellation is made 48 hours prior to the function 50% of the food, beverage and an other costs will be forfeited. »» Extra costs will apply if a cancellation occurs on a public holiday or special event this will be discussed at time of booking. T erms an d con d itions »» Should a function be cancelled (within good reason) within one month of the booked date, the room hire/ booking fee will be forfeited.This condition excludes any December functions, whereby in no case the room hire/ booking fee will be refunded. Final Numbers »» The client must advise the venue of final no later than seven (7) days prior to function date Insurance/Damage »» Our organisation will take reasonable care, but will not accept responsibility for damage to or loss of items before, during or after a function »» You are financially responsible for any loss or damage sustained to the premises or our property during a function or by your guests when entering or leaving the premises »» You are also responsible for any loss or damage to equipment hired by us for you »» Security is required for 21st birthdays »» Security guards at a ration of one (1) guard per fifty (50) guests Responsible Service Of Alcohol »» Yard glasses are prohibited as we practice Responsible Service of Alcohol »» After midnight we will not serve shots, doubles or RTD’s »» All guests under the age of 18 must leave the licensed premises by 10:30 Other »» External sound is prohibited, all sound must come through venue speakers only »» Any 3rd party entertainment must be approved by the Function coordinator prior to your event »» Management reserves the right to refuse entry at their own discretion and shut down any Function that breaches the regulations of the Southern Cross Hotel, as well as altering sound levels at anytime »» The Southern Cross Hotel do not allow 18th Birthday parties »» All guest under the age of 18 must leave the licensed premises by 10:30pm »» Terms and conditions and pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice »» No food or beverage of any kind is permitted to be brought into the venue by clients or clients guests, unless prior permission is obtained »» All underage guest must be accompanied by a guardian at all times. www.southerncrosshotel.com.au 13
