Congratulations You are now a Visionary Wildlife Warrior! By joining the Visionary Wildlife Warriors program you have taken the first step in helping us build a better, more balanced world. This year, we’ll work together to protect wildlife species, conserve natural habitats and empower others to do the same. Throughout this program, you’ll learn about our conservation efforts, raise funds and awareness to support them and become a conservation leader in your community. Who are we? We are Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors! How do I get involved? PART ONE GROW your passion for wildlife: Learn about conservation with our monthly Visionary Wildlife Warrior updates! Visionary Wildlife Warrior Award The search for the 2019 Visionary Wildlife Warrior! Each year, the Visionary Wildlife Warrior Award recognises the extraordinary efforts of one participant in the program. A passionate and dedicated individual who through fundraising, learning and getting involved in conservation in their own community is making the world of a difference. Does this sound like you? We encourage you to apply when submissions open in September! How do I apply? Submit a 200-500 word essay or 60 second video showcasing fundraising initiatives you’ve completed throughout the year. Your entry should also include what you do for conservation in your home, at your school and in your local community. The most outstanding submission will be selected by Bindi and Robert Irwin, and awarded at the Steve Irwin Gala Dinner Will it Brisbane in November – a night that celebrates the life and legacy of the greatest Wildlife be yo u?!
