Each year, École des Roches offers French immersion programme on its campus in Normandy, designed for young
 people from 12 to 18 years old. We offer immersion courses with our students, French lessons, cultural excursions
 and sporting activities.

Duration and date : 4 weeks
                    From Monday 7th of January to Saturday 2nd of February 2019

Fee : 4 900 €

The pupils will have pleasure in visiting Paris, Le Louvre Museum, Tuileries’s Garden, Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, Orsay Museum, the
Champs Elysées, Rodin Museum, Versailles, Deauville, Loire’s castles, Rouen, Mont Saint Michel, Caen, Disneyland Paris, Chartres,
etc…
NB :The excursions are all guided and supervised by the teachers or the housemaster.

Aviation
Prerequisite: being 15 and taller than 1,65m (5,4 Ft)
Discovery flight: 100 euros / session
Instructional flight: 1150 euros /10 lessons

Horse riding
Provide your own boots and riding helmets
Fee :35 € for 1 hour
     Registration and payment at the equestrian center

Arrival and return transportation

        Arrival : Monday 7th of January 2019                       Return : Sturday 2nd of February 2019
All students are met at the airport by École des Roches    École des Roches teaching staff accompany all students
teaching staff.                                            and assist them with registration and boarding
                                                           procedures.
Airport arrivals must be at CHARLES DE GAULLE airport
during the following times: 10.00 and 15.00                  Airport departures must be at CHARLES DE GAULLE
                                                             airport during the following times: 11.00 and 15.00
           All arrival or departure at other times or other dates, will automatically be charged 200 euros.
             Any extra day, induced by an arrival or departure outside date, will be charged 140 euros.

  Cancellation           3 weeks before the courses start, the school will keep the deposit

Guarantee deposit

  We expect a Guarantee Deposit of 300 € to cover possible expenses during the courses, i.e. doctor, pharmacy,
  damage caused by the student and /or transfer to the airport in case of appellation. For this deposit, the
  enclosed “Guarantee Deposit Agreement” (a credit card authorisation) must be signed. Our school commits
  to informing and sending you an invoice before charging your credit card.

Sports and leisure

 Which sports ? Tennis, boxing, football, handball, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, golf, go-
 karting, horse riding, aviation.
 When? With whom ? House Masters arrange various sports activities every day, as well as games and
 championships.
 Which surprise events ? Dance party, Karaoke, big games (like “Les Roches’ got talent”), French cooking
 classes, Pastry workshop, etc...
 When? With whom ? Every afternoon and some evenings. With the pupils of the school, supervised by the
 House Masters and the teaching staff.

Equipment

 What to bring ? Underwear, long pants or skirts, shirt, a warm jumper, raincoat, towels, toiletries, pyjamas,
 rackets and balls for tennis/table-tennis, bathing suit, sportswear, breeches and boots for horseback riding.

 Compulsory:
 - Uniform: Pupils wear an uniform to go to class every day. Bring your own if you have one, or: a navy blue
 blazer, a navy blue trousers or skirt, a white shirt and formal footwear.
 -Sportswear: Bring both sports clothes and sports shoes. A clean pair of shoes is required to access to the
 school gymnasium.

 Laundry Available at school for the duration of the stay, providing clothes are properly labelled.

Lodging and meals

 Lodging With the pupils of the school, on the site accommodation in spacious Normandy-style houses with two
 to eight beds a room, supervised by House Masters.
 In each house, participants will find: a kitchen, a “phone call room”, television, a piano.
 Free Wifi is available across campus.

 Meals 3 meals / day at the school’s restaurant. Pupils create their meals with the dishes proposed by our gourmet
 chef. ( The restaurant can provide special meals in case of allergies or special diet).
 During the excursions: picnics and restaurants.

Security

 Security Discreet and effective round the clock supervision. Presence of 1 adult for every 8 children on the
 campus..

 Rules Alcohol, cigarettes, illegal substances are strictly forbidden at École des Roches. In case of transgression
 of these rules, the student will be expelled immediately.
