Anyone who thinks that the ancient
Greeks invented democracy is hugely
mistaken. It was Elvis the meerkat!
Whenever the animals meet in the jungle,
they always end up arguing. Who was yelling,
who’s been snoring too loudly and who stole
the coconut? Who’s been getting into whose
hair? Who is allowed to go to the watering

The magic forest is dangerous
and forbidden to enter.
Dulcinea has known this ever since she was
a young girl. But her father has gone there to
pick blueberries for her birthday pancakes.
Could the witch have cast a spell on him?
When he fails to return Dulcinea does not
hesitate a moment to go and look for him.

Hieronymus the raccoon has a problem:
he’s too polite and too tame for his
fellow animals and has been cast out.
When he appears in Luki’s front garden
asking for help, the boy immediately comes
to his aid. Hieronymus wants to be wilder –
something that would help Luki too. Then the
other kids might stop calling him a mummy’s
boy. But what does it mean to be wild? Lying
on the carpet eating cucumber hardly counts.
They need a plan! To discover how to
be wild, they go to the zoo, the school
playground and an old telephone booth. Not

Lucie believes has cracked the jackpot,
when she discovers a posting for an
extremely overpaid job as a dogwalker.
As it turns out, the dog has long passed
away and the posting seems like the scam
of a crazy old man who is actually looking
for a ghostwriter for his weird cookbook.
Of course, Lucie doesn’t believe him when
he talks about top-secret ingredients such as
dragon hearts (which look an awful much like
tomatoes) and werewolf saliva (which very
much resembles ordinary honey). Still, she
concocts one or two of his recipes – the love
potion for example. It’s not like she’s really
into Marvin – like everybody else –
but there’s no harm in trying, right?
