OUR PROGRAM LINEUP 40 yard dash The 40 remains the biggest of all combine tests. Our training goal is to optimize current capabilities by conditioning the central nervous and neuromuscular systems to increase the firing patterns of fast twitch muscle fibers associated with SPEED. We break down the 40 into five components: 1. STANCE 2. FIRST STEP 3. FIRST 10 YARDS 4. TRANSITION 5. THE FINISH. Training each aspect independently ensures power output and efficiency. vertical & broad jump The jump test may be the best measurement of raw explosiveness at the combine/pro day. These tests are a great indicator of explosiveness and lower body strength. Team MVP will improve the power test through a variety of ways, including innovative and intense jump training, targeted strength training and proper practice of the sequencing of jump mechanics. Our jump training protocols are unmatched! 225 lb bench press The 225-bench test is a measurement of strength endurance. Team MVP’s program will increase your maximal strength, while improving endurance and overall technique. By breaking the lift down into sections and training each separately, you will dominate the test. L drill & shuttle These two drills measure an athlete’s change of direction, lateral quickness and explosiveness in short areas. To decrease your time in the change of direction events, we will break each drill down into individual steps. The key to these drills is learning how to decelerate and accelerate as fast as possible. In that regard, no one is better than Team MVP. Running Gate Analysis Each athlete will undergo an individual evaluation and slow motion review of their sprint gate to identify biomechanical faults. Wonderlic The Wonderlic Test is an intelligence exam that evaluates a person’s ability to problem-solve and process information. This test is administered to potential draft picks at the NFL Combine, and we will work with you to get you ready for one of the most important and underrated parts of the Draft process. 7

COOKING & NUTRITION Chris Fenderson II or “Chef Fendo” is Steve McLendon’s personal chef. Chef Fendo is well-versed on what it takes to keep a NFL player healthy, but to ensure the food tastes delicious and like an indulgence. Chef Fendo utilizes lean proteins, healthy carbs, light fats and natural flavoring in order to give food the best flavor, but without the abundance of nonessential calories. Everything is cooked from scratch in order to have total control over the right portion size and proper calories needed to restore and fuel the body. With his degree in Sports Culinary Nutrition, Chef Fendo specializes in cooking for athletes, so they can reach their maximum potential in any sport. It doesn’t matter if it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a snack, he can transform the comfort food that you love to make it work for your training needs. And the best part is, the majority of your food and nutrition needs will be taken care of, so you’ll have an all-in-one experience at Team MVP and don’t have to worry about meal prep while you are training. 10
