Lindsay Recreation Complex Health Memberships:
An active Health Membership is required for use of the gym facilities at the Lindsay Recreation Complex. Workout times

Health Memberships include Swim Membership privileges, plus gym access and dry land fitness classes. HST will be

             How To Set Up An Account
             Pre-registration is required for all Fitness Programs and Weight Room Blocks
              through our Online Program Registration website.
              https://kawarthalakes.perfectmind.com

New Clients
If you are a new client you will be required to set up an account first in order to register for
programs. To get started visit our Online Program Registration website: https://kawarthalakes.
perfectmind.com For the best registration experience, please use Google Chrome or Firefox.
Using other browsers may produce unexpected results.                                               2

How to create an account:
1. Click on the “Create an Account” button at the bottom of the login box.

2. Once all fields have been completed, click the ‘Become Member’ button at the bottom.
   You will receive a new temporary password by e-mail.

3. After clicking the ‘Become Member’ button, a new screen will open. On this screen you
   can edit your account information and add family members. Family members must be
   listed under your account for you to register them for a program. Add all family member
   information so your account is up to date.Once everyone is updated, click on your name in
   the top right corner to log out and exit the web browser.                                       3

4. Check your e-mail and look for an e-mail from us. Click on the link in the e-mail and use
    the username and password provided in that e-mail to log in.

5. When you log in using the username and password that was e-mailed, you will be asked to
    reset your password. Choose a password that is familiar to you so that you will remember
    it the next time you log in.

  Once you click ‘Save’, a notification will appear that your password has been successfully       4
  changed. Then log in using your username and updated password.

Existing Clients
If you are a current Member you can just log in to your Online Program Registration
account to register.

Weight Room & Workout Centre Block Booking
     Pre-registration is required for all Weight Room and Workout
     Centre Blocks through our Online Program Registration website:
     https://kawarthalakes.perfectmind.com

     How to book your Weight Room Block:
     An active Membership is required to book a Weight Room Block.
     All Weight Room users will be required to pre-register ahead of
     time for their desired workout time through our Online Program
     Registration website.

     Users can register for sessions up to 7 days in advance.
     Limited space will be available.

     Individuals will be permitted to register for one 50 minute
     workout block per day.

     How to book a Weight Room Block online:
     Once an account has been created, participants will then be able to
     register for a Weight Room Block online.

        1. Once you’ve created an account, login to our Online Program
            Registration website: https://kawarthalakes.perfectmind.com
            using your e-mail and password.

        2. Click on ‘Register.’

        3. Under the Drop In Program tab choose ‘LRC Drop in
            Fitness’ or ‘Forbert Drop in Fitness.’

        4. On the left hand sidebar under ‘Service’ click on ‘Weight
            Room Drop In.’

        5. Select the Weight Room date and time you wish to attend/
            register for.

        6. Use the date calendar to select the date you wish to attend.

        7. Click the ‘Book’ button.

        8. Follow all the steps through to complete your Drop In
            Fitness Program registration and you will receive a
            confirmation e-mail confirming your registration.

FITNESS PROGRAM RULES & COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS

     Fitness Program
     COVID-19 Rules and Safety Protocols:
     Due to physical distancing, class sizes will be limited and participants
     will be required to adhere to these specific COVID-19 Fitness Rules
     and Safety Protocols:

     • Class participants must ensure they maintain a physical distance of 3
        metres from other participants and stay within their marked square or
        assigned bike for the duration of the fitness class.
     • Upper Fitness Change Rooms will re-open for washroom and changing
        only, there will be no access to showers or lockers.
     • Maximum capacity for upper Change Rooms is 3 patrons at a time.
     • Patrons must follow the directional signage throughout the facility and in
        the Fitness Studio. Proceeding to the furthest vacant square available
        upon arrival to the Studio.
     • As per public health standards, all participants will be required to wear a
       mask or face covering while in the building (with the exception of while
       participating in a fitness class).
     • Patrons will be required to remove outdoor footwear in pool lobby area,
        put on indoor footwear and proceed to the Fitness Studio via the lower
        floor Weight Room.
     • Once class participants have arrived at their designated square or
        bike, face masks or face coverings may be removed and folded in
        half (keeping mouth area covered) and placed in the designated area.
        Once situated, participants will be provided with sanitizer to use on their
        hands prior to the class starting.
     • Limited equipment will be provided for aerobic classes and no yoga
        blocks or straps will be provided for yoga classes. Participants are
        encouraged to bring their own should they require them for class.
     • No spectators will be permitted. All attendees must be registered and
       participate in the fitness class.
     • Participants will need to arrive before the class starts or they will not be
        permitted to enter the class.
     • When attending Fitness Programs and Weight Room Blocks members
        will need to have their membership cards with them in order to open
        Weight Room doors.

Cancellations, Refunds & Credits
Programs
The division reserves the right to cancel programs due to insufficient registration. In these cases a full refund/credit will be issued.
Refunds/credits for any other reason are subject to approval and a 15% (minimum $5) administration fee. All requests must be made
in writing to the program coordinator (e-mail: recreation@kawarthalakes.ca). Refunds under $20.00 will be issued only as credit on
account for future Parks, Recreation & Culture services.

Drop In Programs
Once a reservation has been made if you are unable to attend your scheduled booking please call 705-324-9112 to cancel your space.
Due to the limited spaces available, any fees paid will only be refunded as a credit on your account if the cancellations is received a
minimum of 48 hours before the booking time. If cancellation is made with less than 48 hours notice fees are non-refundable.

WEIGHT ROOM RULES & COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS

     Weight Room
     COVID-19 Rules and Safety Protocols:
     Patrons will be required to adhere to the following COVID-19
     Rules and Safety Protocols:

     • Patrons must ensure they maintain a physical distance of 3 metres
        from other Weight Room users at all times.
     • Upper Fitness Change Rooms will be open for washroom and
        changing only, there will be no access to showers or lockers.
     • Maximum capacity for upper Change Rooms is 3 patrons at a time.
     • As per public health standards, all participants will be required to
        wear a mask or face covering while attending the facility (with the
        exception of while working out).
     • Patrons must follow the directional signage throughout the facility
        and in the Weight Room.
     • Patrons will be required to remove outdoor footwear in pool lobby
        area, putting on indoor footwear and proceeding to the Weight
        Room via the lower floor Weight Room. Outdoor footwear will be
        placed in a pool lobby cubby or Weight Room cubby.
     • Equipment “in use” will rotate on alternating days.
     • No spectators will be permitted. All attendees must be registered
        and be working out.
     • All exercisers must wipe equipment down (handles, seats, backrest,
        consoles etc.) with provided disinfectant spray after each use.
     • Spotters must be used on all heavy lifts with free weights, but need
        to be part of your specific COVID-19 social circle.
     • When attending fitness classes and Weight Room blocks Members
        will need to have their Membership cards with them in order to
        open Weight Room doors.
