This is due to social-emotional well-being as well as the appropriateness of physical challenge. • Some teams may operate without Scots staff attendance. In this case, Parents will be asked to take a lead role in matchday coaching. • Access to the NetballNSW Foundation Coaching course will be given to players who are offering to support the coaching program on Saturday and Monday evenings: https://nsw.netball.com.au/netball-nsw-coach- ing-accreditation/ • Umpires will be reimbursed at $20 per game. • A scope and sequence timeline for the Netball year outlines the events. • Scots Sport reserves the right to change the opportunities within this program. Sport Program 2021 Snowsports Snow Australia: In 2019 Scots were the recipient of the Outstanding School Achievement of the Year in Snowsports Award Contact Ms Georgie Parker • gparker@scotsalbury.nsw.edu.au Competitions The Scots School enters the ASSSTC, the NSW and Victorian Interschool Snowsports Competitions. Training The school organises Snow Day excursions for all students and also a Boarders snow trip. The school runs the Little Shredders training program for K, 1 and 2 to introduce them to the sport. Albury Wodonga Table Tennis Association invites all students aged 10 years to 16 years who would like to play table tennis one afternoon a week, 4.30pm until 6.00pm, every Wednesday, at Greenfield Park. No experience is necessary. Cost $5 with some coaching, and equipment is available. AWTTA is an Active Kids program provider, so the two $100 Active Kids vouchers for NSW residents in 2019 can be used to pay for fees at the club. If, instead of these Junior Sessions, students choose the night-time Pennant competition, the cost will be $6.00 per session and the TT Victoria registration is $50. Scots Talented Athletes Program The Talented Athletes Program at Scots (TAPAS) aims to supporting student athletes to maximise sporting and academic potential by achieving a balanced lifestyle of training, competitions, schoolwork, exams and family life. The High Performance Scots Talented Athletes Program is based on The Junior Athlete Education Framework, developed by the Youth Sport Trust in the United Kingdom. That framework was designed to guide and help schools provide comprehensive personal development support for young talented performers within their school but who are also challenged with realising both academic and sporting potential. Representative Sports Pathways Scots are part of the representative pathways that allow athletes to extend their skills beyond school and into the levels of representative sport. School representatives will compete and trial at a RAS (Riverina Associated Schools) level . RAS representatives compete and trial at the CIS (Combined Independent Schools) level.
