During this class, the participants will be building a live Zoning system with a TAM9 air handler, 1050 controller, 940, controller, zone panel and relay panel. Students will wire, start up, program and trouble shoot the system. Fall 2020/ Spring 2021 Ferguson HVAC Technical Training Schedule (continued) CFC Review and Testing - $150.00 4hr This is a review of the ESCO study guide for the EPA 608 CFC certification test. The student is required to have studied the Guide before coming to this class and test. You may request a copy of the study guide from Paul.hale2@ferguson.com . You can also download direct from https://www.escogroup.org/ click on Certifications > click on EPA Section 608 Certifications > Simple preparatory manual > you could also direct the student to this site and do practice test by clicking Free practice exams. EPA regulations (40 CFR Part 82, Subpart F) under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act require that technicians who maintain, service, repair, or dispose of equipment that could release ozone depleting refrigerants into the atmosphere must be certified. Starting on January 1, 2018, this requirement will also apply to appliances containing most substitute refrigerants, including HFCs. Technicians are required to pass an EPA-approved test to earn Section 608 Technician Certification. The tests are specific to the type of equipment the technician seeks to work on. Tests must be administered by an EPA-approved certifying organization. Section 608 Technician Certification credentials do not expire. Fall 2020/ Spring 2021 Ferguson HVAC Mitsubishi Training Schedule Mitsubishi M&P 2 Day Install / Service Essential Class - $250.00 2-Days Acquire the in-depth knowledge and skills to install and troubleshoot Mitsubishi one to one and multiple indoor unit systems. Day one will focus on the proper installation Technics and practices, proper wire sizing for each of the product lines. Will cover proper voltages for installation verification and trouble shooting. Will cover proper refrigerant line sizing and proper refrigerant charge calculations. Day 2 will focus on Mitsubishi technologies and concepts on the equipment operation. There will be discussion of how the control boards work and how power is changed from single phase AC to high volts Dc to three phase AC for the variable speed compressors. There is live equipment that the techs will be working on during the class time. Includes an Installers Essentials and Service essentials books. Go to https://lyonconklin.fergusonhvac.com 2. Type in your zip code & select your nearest branch. (Please understand – you must complete these steps for the site to place you in your region and for you to be able to view and register for classes. 3. Hover over the “TRAINING AND EVENTS” at the top of the page, when the drop-down box appears, click on ‘TRAINING” 4. From there, you will see a page that lists upcoming Sales & Business & Technical Training classes 5. You will see 2 boxes titled “All Categories” and “All Regions” on the upper-right side. Click on these to narrow your search for the classes you are looking for. 6. Once you find the class that you would like to register for’ click on the class name. This will bring you back to a page with a brief class description and a list of class locations, dates, and times. Click the Blue box labeled “SING UP” next to the correct location, date of the class you wish to attend, 7. Once you click “SICN UP”, you will be prompted to enter your information as well as the attendee’s information. Once you click “SIGN UP” under the online form, it will say “Registration Complete!” and this confirms your registration. YOU WILL NOT GET A CONFORMATION EMAIL! 8. Please put the date and times on your calendar for your record of the class. Class payment process. 1. If you are in the American Standard Dealer program, then the class will be billed to the training budget for your program. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum 2. If you are in the Mitsubishi Dealer program, then you can send 2 techs to each class as space is available 3. For all other billing will occur after the class is complete. 4. COD Customers will need to send a check / credit card with the tech to pay at time of the class. Cancellation Policy: Class Cancellation must be made 3 days in advance of the class being held. Some of the classes Especially the Mitsubishi has limited seats and sometimes have a waiting list. We need this to be able to have time to allow someone else to fill the seat. No shows will be billed $50.00 per person to your account Not covered by Dealer Program. 15
