Please see the Ministry website to review current restrictions in place. We appreciate community support as this also keeps our school safe and running. Please continue to complete a daily health check with your child and if they are feeling ill or experiencing any symptoms identified with COVID stay at home and contact 8-11 or your Health Care provider. Cafeteria Menu Week of January 11th – 15th MON – CHICKEN SHAWARMA, HOUSE MADE PITA, PICKLED CABBAGE AND TURNIP, FRESH TOMATOES AND CUCUMBER, MINTED YOGURT TUES - PAD THAI (VEGETARIAN) (GF) WED -CALZONE- ITAILAN SAUSAGE, HAM, GREEN PEPPERS AND MOZZARELLA OR SUNDRIED TOMATO, SPINACH AND FETA THURS - BRAISED BEEF POUTINE FRI – BBQ PULLED PORK SANDWICH, CARAMELIZED ONION, PICKLED CABBAGE It was great to have students back in the cafeteria this week buying our delicious food! We have established our new COVID-friendly service routines and look forward to continuing this service. Hot lunches will be $6.00 and a variety of small, packaged yet in-house baked items are available, including muffins, cookies, sausage rolls and more! Come by and grab a snack or buy some lunch.
IMPORTANT: Graduation Numeracy Assessment January 28th and January 29th: The Graduation Numeracy Assessment is a provincial assessment that is a graduation requirement for all students. All Grade 10s are registered to write the Assessment on January 28th and any Grade 11s and Grade 12s who have not yet completed the assessment are registered to write on January 29th. No classes are in session on these days. Please refer to January 2021 Assessment Schedule below and the information brochure attached to the email for additional details. All Grade 10s will engage in pre-assessment activities/prep in class on Tuesday, January 19th in Block D. Contact Ms. Garr with any questions. Grad Photos and Retakes The grad site is now open for grads to get photos and retakes on January 20, 21 and 22, 2021. To sign up for Grad portraits please go to this site: schedule.prestigeportraits.ca A note from Lifetouch: We do provide white shirts and ties, but we recommend they bring their own white shirt if they have one. There are no buddy photos this year. Grads are welcome to bring in a prop such as musical instrument, sports jersey and stick etc. 1 person at a time in photo area, no family members or friends allowed.
