Welcome As Chairman of Dosthill Colts Football Club, I would like to thank you for selecting our Club. Our Club’s aim is to ensure that your time with us is enjoyable and that every child goes away with a smile on their face having enjoyed their training session or match. Our Football Club has strict guidelines on how we wish to see football coached, played and developed and we will guide our coaches accordingly. All of our coaches are encouraged to extend their football qualifications and improve on all aspects of their coaching. Dosthill Colts FC was formed in 1990 and has been providing Football opportunities to young players in and around the Staffordshire & Birmingham areas since this time. In 2015, the Club relinquished its ties with Coleshill Town FC and again stand alone being stronger than ever. Our teams currently run from soccer school with teams playing through from U7’s to U14’s. Our Club is very highly regarded and through expert coaching, our young players receive and build on their skills and strengths to a high standard. Dosthill Colts represent teams in the Tamworth, Lichfield and Central Warwickshire Leagues and our aim is to build on the strong foundations that we have in place and to strengthen the reputation of our Club. Furthermore, Dosthill Colts are a Charter Standard club, which means we have achieved all the relevant requirements as set out by the FA. We have strong connections with professional clubs, such as Birmingham City FC, Aston Villa FC, Walsall FC, West Bromwich Albion FC and Derby County FC and through reputation alone, our teams, of all ages, have been asked to attend professional clubs to play against their academy teams. Dosthill Colts FC’s Club colours are red, white and blue and all teams must incorporate all three colours into their home kit. Finally, on behalf of everyone involved in the Club, I would like to thank you for choosing Dosthill Colts FC for your child’s football development and I hope that you and your child enjoy every aspect of our club. Dave Peel Chairman 1
