Leinster LGFA CONVENTION 2021 Online Webinars From the beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic the LGFA launched a series of online webinars to continue to support clubs, counties and the volunteers who run them. Webinars were focused on the following areas: » Coach Education » Match Officials Education » Club Leadership Series » County/Provincial Series » Player Education The engagement from Leinster Counties and Clubs has been outstanding and the work that counties & clubs have put into sharing these to all members have been excellent. Club Survey In September we sent out a “Leinster Clubs Needs Questionnaire” and we received massive feedback from 11 of the 12 counties. No clubs in Kilkenny completed the questionnaire. Summary of results below: Year in Review 2020 was a Year like no other for sport. It has been both difficult and challenging for players, officials, clubs, counties and our volunteers alike. We have had to adapt and find new ways to support, encourage and promote Ladies Football in Leinster and as an Association. We would like to thank all our clubs and counties for their resilience and dedication throughout this challenging time and we will continue to move forward together to ensure that development progresses in Leinster and the LGFA as a whole. Regards, Stephen Maxwell 16
