Every year many varieties of sweet pea plants are raised in greenhouses, you can see heritage, modern, scented, striped, flake and bicolour sweet peas displayed on drums and wigwams throughout the gardens. The ferry will turn just before Latchford Locks and make the return journey down the Ship Canal and back into the Mersey. The cruise takes in spectacular scenery leaving you with an awe- inspiring sense of how the canal’s construction shaped the North West of England.
