General Information REGISTRATION: Students are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Many pro- grams have limited enrollment; therefore, we recommend that you register no later than two weeks prior to the beginning of the program in which you are interested. Instructors reserve the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. If this happens, you will be contacted at least one week before that program, and your entire tuition will be refunded. All programs meet Monday through Friday unless otherwise indicated. Pay- ment is due that the time of registration unless previous arrangements have been made with the director. The child will not be added to the camp until payment has been made. Costs and Fees: Camps the week of June 10th—12th is $110.00 (supply fee included). All camps from June 15th—July 24th cost $160 (supply fee included). Before Care is $20 per family per week. This fee is non-refundable. After Care is $100.00 per child per week or $165.00 per family. Daily fee is $30.00 per day per child. This fee includes a supply fee and afternoon snack. Dress: Students should dress appropriately for the program in which they are enrolled. Bare feet are not permitted in the buildings. Dress should always be in good taste. Water bottles and sunscreen are suggested supplies for outdoor camps. Closed toe shoes are required. Insurance: Fayetteville Academy carries a comprehensive general liability policy, but parents are responsible for their child's accident and health policies. Admissions Policy: The Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, na- tional or ethnic origin, or religion in the administration of admissions, educational poli- cies, financial aid, athletic programs, or other activities. Applications for Summer Odys- sey are accepted from all students, regardless of where they are enrolled during the reg- ular academic year. Preference will be given to currently enrolled Fayetteville Academy students. Withdrawals: Refunds will be made to those who withdraw from a program up to TWO week prior to the beginning of that program. If a student withdraws less than TWO week before the program begins, no refund is possible (regardless of the reason). The Academy reserves the right to ask any student to withdraw if the school feels that the student's continued presence is a negative one. If a student is required to withdraw, that tuition cannot be refunded. Drop off and Pick up: all campers will enter through the lower school kiosk by the spirit rock. This will be the the location for all morning camps and aftercare.
General Information: Times: All half-day camps 8:30 am - 12:00 pm Before Care 7:30 - 8:30 am After Care 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm Drop-off and pick-up for all camps will be located in the gym lobby. After Care will be on the playground or in the Lower School building. A late fee of $1 per minute will be due immediately after 5:30 pm. Signs will be posted weekly as to the specific location of all camps. Half day camps will only be conducted when 6 or more campers are registered. Please look out for special in- structions from the teacher the week before your child’s camp!. Before Care: June 10th - July 24th This service is for parents who need to drop off their child(ren) before camps begin. If you drop them off before 8:15 am, you will be charged the $20.00 fee. This fee is paid weekly. We can not accept daily payments. If you are not using the before care service, drop-off for camps begins at 8:15 am. After Care : June 10th - July 24th 12:00 pm– 1:00 pm lunch / free play on playground (weather permitting) 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm activities organized for specified day of the week 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm snack / free play on the playground or gym Monday – sports / game day Tuesday – science/ art day Wednesday – water day (weather permitting) **Excluding June10th—no water day the first week of camps** Thursday – iPad day Friday – reading and math day Campers will spend the afternoon enjoying time with their peers. June 29th—July 3rd Red, White, & Blue Gabby Ostendorf Grades: rising K-2nd Students will create red, white, blue crafts galore to represent our great country. Students will learn American symbols and create fun crafts (some edible too) along the way! Fayetteville Academy Cheer Camp Heather Handy Grades: rising 1st - 5th Spend the week learning how to cheer on the Eagles. This camp will teach chants, jumps, a dance, and some stunting. On Friday we will Shark Week perform a mini pep rally for the campers and Julian Barbaro parents Grades: rising 3rd-5th Enjoy the week learning about the different types of sharks, studying the habits, and symbi- otic relationships in the ocean. We will work with a dogfish shark learning the external and internal anatomy. The students will dissect throughout the week. Comic Book Camp Laura Reeves Grades: rising1st -5th Tra-la-laaaa! Do you enjoy making your own comics or cartoons? In this camp each camper will write and draw comic books all week long. We will learn about character development, drawing, and storytelling with H2O and You pictures. Come make up stories, draw, and Georgeanna English have fun with Mrs. Reeves! Grades: rising Pre-K - 2nd Each day we will learn the importance of water for all living things. We will enjoy splashing around using water in different science experi- ments and end the week with Water Day festivi- ties (weather permitting).

July 6th –10th Vertebrate Dissection Camps Chase Ammons—alumni FA Grades: rising 3rd-5th Campers spend the week focusing on animals with backbones. Each day we will dissect an or- ganism from the following classes fish, amphibi- ans, reptiles and mammals. We will end the week with a back breaking party. The Ultimate Scavenger Hunt Julian Barbaro– alumni FA Grades: rising 3rd—7th Spend the week competing daily on different scavenger hunts throughout the campus. Each day the Hunt will have its own theme and riddles to help find the items. We will end the camp on Friday putting on a scavenger hunt during break for the other campers. MakerSpace Debi Smith Grades: rising 3rd - 5th Do you like to make things? This camp will have supplies galore for you to put together and "Make" anything you can imagine. Get a leg up on demystifying the process! We will build resumes, practice infor- mational interviews, create budgets, demystify taxes and basic savings. In Fairy Garden Camp each camper will make tiny creations for their very own fairy garden. We will also do fairy-themed arts and crafts. We will end our week by sprinkling pixie dust in the garden and having a fairy picnic and Nerf’s Up tea party! Chase Ammons (Alumni of FA) Grades: 2nd - 4th Enjoy this fun filled week playing all kinds of Nerf games. We will have friendly com- petitions with a grand winner on Friday.
