Residual waste every second week collection Tips to Keep Pests Out of the Garbage Have waste out by 7 a.m. 1 Garbage collection occurs every other week according to your schedule 7 a.m. Prevent pesky animals from getting into your garbage by placing waste out the morning of your collection day. Grasscycling: “Cut it high and let it lie” 7 a.m. Be sure to have yard waste out to the curb by 7 a.m. Grass clippings are not accepted in any Whitby waste programs. Instead, Grasscycle your clippings.
