This year we have a lot of people and places to catch up with, and have
included quite a list of day trips for everyone to enjoy. Departures up to
the 21st June 2021 will operate with limited passenger numbers in line
with government guidance. Depending on your destination, we may be
able to pick up in Leek Bus Station and Cheadle B&M, please enquire
at your time of booking. If you have transferred a 2020 day trip to this
year, please do ring our office to re-confirm your seats.

EASTON WALLED GARDENS &

This 400 year old garden was reclaimed in 2001, from being on the
National at Risk Register, self-sown trees and swamped grounds it
is now full of meadows, roses, vegetables, cutflowers and drifts of
bulbs in a stunning parkland setting, and the highlight of our visit:
Sweet Peas.
Every year many varieties of sweet pea plants are raised in
greenhouses, you can see heritage, modern, scented, striped,
flake and bicolour sweet peas displayed on drums and wigwams
throughout the gardens.
(It is advised that suitable footwear is worn at The Easton Walled
Gardens)
The afternoon is spent at East Bridgford Garden Centre, with
undercover shopping, the Blue Diamond centre also boasts two
beautiful restaurants - Cafe Home & Garden and The Greenhouse

one of our favourite hotels: The Stirk House Hotel. (Previously used on
the 2020 Get Together)

BLACKPOOL & THE ILLUMINATIONS
Monday 27th December 2021
The Blackpool Illuminations have become an iconic part of British
Culture. Arriving in Blackpool late morning spend the day riding
Donkeys, eating candy floss or standing on the glass floor of the
Blackpool Tower, before boarding the coach for the return journey
home through the famous Illuminations.

  During lockdown National Trust properties (as with everything else)
 closed to the public – at the present date some of the properties are
 still not available to take group bookings. If you are interested in any
of the National Trust visits below, leave your details with the office and
     once we are able to secure dates we will send the details out.
