The Allied Health Integrative Network (AHINet) has designed a wide range of programmes to cater to the needs of Allied Health Professionals and Nurses in acute and community settings. These programmes aim to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of caring for patients in an ever-changing healthcare environment. The training will be conducted through lectures, discussions and learning activities. About The Course: Speakers:
This workshop aims to provide participants with an
understanding of the rationale behind the Otago Faezah Ghazali
Exercise Programme (OEP), an evidence-based fall Senior Physiotherapist
prevention programme for older adults. There will be MSc in Gerontology

Since driving is a Senior Occupational Therapist complex task involving integration of one's MSc in Occupational Therapy psychomotor, cognitive, perceptual and visual skills, individuals with new medical conditions or age- related changes in health may affect their ability to drive safely. Assisting a patient to return to drive is often one of the most challenging tasks faced by occupational therapists. This 2-hour interactive workshop would help occupational therapists to better determine if the client needs a driving assessment. Participants will be able to identify the performance skills required for safe driving. It will also discuss some commonly used screening tests that occupational therapists may utilise to identify at-risk drivers.
