Lisa has been an exceptional advocate as the center’s information and assistance specialist. She’s helped countless seniors and their families navigate a complex network of community resources. Whether helping seniors one-on-one or coordinating with agency partners, she’s dedicated her career to improving the lives of those around her. Lisa’s been an integral part of all aspects of programming, and during her tenure she’s been a supervisor, editor, fundraiser, parade lead and even a fitness instructor. All along she’s been a mentor who has fostered a culture of service, excellence and compassion. We will miss seeing her day to day, but we look forward to updates on her next adventures. If you want to wish Lisa well, then please send your messages to the Senior Center and we’ll be sure to get them to her. A Message from Lisa I’ve loved working with and getting to know so many of you at the Davis Senior Center. You are my role models for successful aging! To those I have helped with difficult challenges in your life — finding resources, completing paperwork or just listening — thank you for putting your trust in me. It has been an honor. In retirement I plan to do more traveling, volunteering and visiting my 96-year-old mom. Since I live in Davis, I’ll be taking advantage of the Senior Center’s great programs as a participant and volunteer. See you there! New Outdoor Classes at the Senior Center! See page 2 .
