Place posts as per deduction tables at the end of this guide glass width deduction from tables Create a layout of your deck If you plan to install the glass and posts at the same time it's important to have accurate measurements. Create a layout that includes exact deck dimensions, the post locations and glass sizes. Use the deduction tables at the end of this guide. Important: When fastening the posts to the deck they can shift a bit, so be careful that they remain in the desired location while fastening otherwise you will have difficulty fitting the glass. Tip: It is also an option to install the posts and Structural Glass Post Add-On Kit without the glass. After the posts are installed you can measure for the glass to be sure it fits. Three self adhesive setting blocks are used for each channel. one near the top one near the bottom one on the bottom cap The glass must sit on a setting block. Do not allow glass to come into contact with hard surface. Cut glazing splines to same length as the channel. Notch the barb back approx. ¾" at both ends, otherwise it will interfere with the screws used for the top and bottom end caps.
