Happy Birthday Dingley Road! We recently celebrated the one year anniversary of Dingley Road, our supported living scheme in Islington for people with learning disabilities. Dingley Road has 10 flats with balconies, a communal area, a shared garden and an office. One of our residents showed us around their flat, telling us “When I first came here I really loved this place – I said I hope I get this one and I moved in and it was lovely! Winter Warmers 2019 As part of our annual Winter Warmers programme, we visit residents aged 80 plus to check on their wellbeing, and make sure their homes are warm and in good condition before winter. This year, 119 Peabody employees visited 580 of our residents, including Arthur, (pictured). We’re following up on the visits to make sure all is well, such as repairs, referrals to our home energy advice team, financial support and handyperson services. Please look out for your neighbours in this cold weather. Pop round for a cup of tea, help with the shopping, or just check in. The league is open to all pupils aged 10 and 11 in all of the primary schools in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
