* Invocation and Lord’s Prayer
      O God, holy wisdom, we open the holy windows of our hearts to you and the
      life you give. Help us to breath in deeply of your Spirit that we might be in-
      spired to become the people you dream for us to be. We ask this as we
      pray…Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom
      come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily
      bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not
      into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the
      power and the glory forever. Amen.

A Moment with Our Children Dr. Olsen

Solo On Eagle’s Wings arr. Mark Hayes
                                  Lydia Harbutz

                     You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord,
                        Who abide in His shadow for life,
                                Say to the Lord:
                      "My refuge, My rock in whom I trust!"

                    And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
                        Bear you on the breath of dawn,
                         Make you to shine like the sun,
                      And hold you in the palm of His hand.

                  The snare of the fowler will never capture you,
                        And famine will bring you no fear:
                          Under His wings your refuge,
                          His faithfulness your shield.

                     You need not fear the terror of the night,
                         Nor the arrow that flies by day;
                        Though thousands fall about you,
                           Near you it shall not come.

                    For to His angels He's given a command
                        To guard you in all of your ways;
                     Upon their hands they will bear you up,
                    Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

                            Create in me a clean heart, O God
                            And renew a right spirit within me.
                           Cast me not away from thy presence;
                           And take not thy holy spirit from me.

                         Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation;
                            And uphold me with thy free spirit.
                         Then will I teach transgressors thy ways;
                         And sinners shall be converted unto thee.

    Wisdom has built her house, she has hewn her seven pillars. She has slaughtered
    her animals, she has mixed her wine, she has also set her table. She has sent out
    her servant-girls, she calls from the highest places in the town, “You that are sim-
    ple, turn in here!” To those without sense she says, “Come, eat of my bread and
    drink of the wine I have mixed. Lay aside immaturity, and live, and walk in the way
    of insight.”

Reopening Plan Guidelines, updated August 3, 2021

       Plymouth Congregational Church will continue many of our normal ways of func-
tioning. Below are the guidelines that will be followed. Services will continue to be
streamed online for those who do not wish to or are unable to attend. The Reopening
Plan Guidelines will be discussed and reevaluated at the monthly Cabinet meetings.
       The Cabinet's recommendations have been made with thoughtful delibera-
tion. We need to be aware that COVID variants and cases are still found in all 50
states. The Delta variant continues to spread rapidly across the United States.
       Thank you for your dedication to Plymouth Church, and for your understanding
of our efforts to keep everyone safe.
1. We strongly recommend immunizations for those persons for whom they are indi-
cated.
2. If you are feeling ill or suspect exposure to COVID-19 or its variants, please
stay home.
3. Pews are no longer labelled as designated seating. We instead recommend
maintaining social distancing of 5-6 feet between attendees. If different households
would like to sit together, that is their choice.
4. Attendees may enter through any of our entrances: north, south, and west. Ush-
ers will be present at the entrances to assist with any questions.
5. Personal belongings should be kept with you.
6. Due to the rapid spread of the Delta variant, we will follow the current CDC rec-
ommendation to wear masks at indoor gatherings. Masks will be available at the en-
try if you do not have your own.
7. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entries.
8. Worship bulletins and offering plates will be available at the entrances/exits.
9. Singing to the hymns and choral responses is okay wearing a mask. The choir
will participate in the worship service wearing masks and social distancing.
10. Coffee, lemonade, and cookies will be served in Fellowship Hall after the church
service. As you gather to greet one another, please keep in mind the CDC recom-
mendations regarding masking, social distancing, and other safety measures.
11. The Nursery and a modified Sunday School for ages K-5 is now offered each
Sunday for our children. Teachers and nursery attendants caring for the children will
be masked. Children 5 years of age and older should wear their masks.
12. Use of the church building during the week by members or outside groups will
continue. Groups who meet here will be given the current CDC guidelines and updat-
ed as the guidelines change. We will refrain from scheduling back-to-back or overlap
use of a room by different groups.

                             The Plymouth Covenant
Believing in Jesus Christ, the Interpreter of God to humankind, we accept His
 teachings as the guiding principles of our lives and consecrate ourselves and
our church to their fulfillment. We therefore join in covenant, one with anoth-
   er, to worship, work, and serve together that we may express through our
   Church and our individual lives the love and faith taught by Jesus Christ.

                                                         11
