Invitation The Department of Cardiology is happy to announce one and half day academic feast“AIIMS JODHPUR CARDIOLOGY UPDATE – 2020” in association with Cardiological Society of India and Indian Academy of Echocardiography on 18th and 19th January 2020 at AIIMS Jodhpur. This will be attended by consultants and students of general medicine, critical care specialists and cardiology to escalate current practices and clinical skills. The academic program will have didactic lectures focusing on cardiovascular diseases along with ECG and ECHO workshops to build basic understanding and application in daily practice. The faculty will be from prestigious Institutes across the country and will encourage young practioners and residents with interesting lectures and interactive sessions. The “Rhythm symposium” is a certified program & will be conducted in association with Cardiological Society of India and will help in understanding basics of ECG and rhythm disorders and hence in improving clinical acumen of physicians. The “Echocardiography workshop” will be in association with Indian Academy of Echocardiography and hands on training will be focused. The experts will be teaching and training with common cardiac conditions where echocardiography is of utmost importance. This workshop will have limited slots. January is a relatively pleasant season for visit to Jodhpur with plenty of discounts on boards for travel and, perhaps, the best time of the year to visit royal Rajasthan. This should provide an ideal opportunity to blend academics with pleasure in this global city and state.
