FINAL FAREWELL
PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
As we finish off the 2020-2021 school year, we would like to thank
all of our students and families for their support and hard work.
Particularly during such a challenging year with two school
closures resulting in periods of learning from home, we needed
each and every one of you to help create the caring and safe

Each year, we have a number of changes in staff. At this time, we

schools. As the overall student population at Tom Longboat
continues to decrease, we will be wishing two of our beloved
teachers well as they move to new schools. Mr. Maskerine will be
moving to Alexmuir JPS, and Ms. Pithwa will be moving to
SAFE ARRIVAL Steelesview PS. We wish them both all the best in their new
schools. Mr. Mark will be remaining at Tom Longboat in the
Full Day Absence morning, and will be teaching at Grey Owl JPS in the afternoons.

September and we will miss her smiles each day.
Late or Half Day Absence
416.396.6610 Press 1 We would like to remind families that teachers will be on summer
break after June 29th. Therefore, our Google Classrooms and
Kindergarten Bright Space will not be monitored. To ensure
student online safety, access to these virtual classrooms will be
discontinued by the end of the school day on June 29th.
We have mailed copies of the report card out to all families in
case the links that were sent by email are inconsistent. We will be
sending out class information at the end of the summer to let
students know which classroom they will be in for September.
Although there will be the option to learn virtually next year, we
hope as many families as possible return to in-person learning at
