INC corporating art fair Hamburg – idea & concept: The virtualization of the real world awakens the longing for real experiences, authentic conversations and the real facial expression of the other person. Art awakens our passion and enthusiasm for the unspeakable. Culture merges with lifestyle, advertising and the entertainment industry. Our society is characterized by an ever shorter period of validity for trends, major events and what is perceived as authentic or special. Therefore, the exchange between art, brands, customers and service providers is elementary for empathy, innovation and success. With this approach, we would like to start our new art fair in Hamburg, the second largest city in Germany, in August 2021 and show the art world that art and culture are very relevant to the system.
INC corporating art fair Hamburg – Textile Art Space: Images such as "Spinning Thoughts" or "The Red Thread" have manifested themselves in our language from textile art. The textile terms connect, interweave and network have long since moved into computer language as abstract metaphors or span the entire globe as a coordinate system. Our concern is to understand Textile Art and, as Anni Albers described, to perceive "the thread as a carrier of meaning". The new INC corporating art fair offers a special Textile Art Space and thus creates space for this versatile art. Hamburg is predestined to be an international location, as the climate has given textile culture a significant presence, especially in the northern countries of Europe.

INC corporating art fair Hamburg - die makers behind: The new art fair in Hamburg is being implemented by one of the founders of the STROKE art fair & the ARTMUC art fair. With over 500,000 visitors, over 2,500 participants and 500 galleries & platforms, our formats here in Munich have successfully shaped a solid art market over the past 12 years. The Textile Art Space is initiated in cooperation with the "Textile Atelier Beate von Harten & Celina von Harten". The internationally successful studio is passionate about the art of textiles and curates the project together with the initiator Raiko Schwalbe.
INC corporating art fair 2021 & Textile Art Space – date and location For our start in Hamburg, we are focusing on late summer 2021. Based on the experience with Corona and the requirements of the authorities, we have currently set the following event date: Thursday, August 26th - Sunday, August 29th, 2021 As a location, we consciously decided on an approach with which we successfully founded STROKE in Munich in 2008. We are positioning ourselves as the new exploring fair in Hamburg in a district that most Hamburgers discover: the Oberhafenquartier in the Hafencity. The area includes a former freight station where we will use 2 large halls opposite for the "INC corporating art fair". We are positioned very centrally, easily accessible and in the immediate vicinity of the Deichtorhallen. We avoid the classic “art fair white cube” and force the old charm of the goods halls with their sliding doors, the brick look and the cozy ambience.
INC corporating art fair 2021 & Textile Art Space – participation & fees For participation in the first edition, we are offering a basic price of 140 EUR / sqm net for participation in the Textile Art Space (normal price 175 EUR / sqm net). For a clear overall presentation, we focus on a large coherent area within the art fair. Textile works are presented within the Textile Art Space as: 1) Objects hanging / mounted on the wall 2) free-standing as a three-dimensional object (with / without base) 3) as a freely suspended installation from the ceiling structure Due to the height of approx. 6 m and the charming working character of this former warehouse for freight wagons, this room offers space for particularly large-format textiles and free-hanging installations. The assembly of the ceiling structures is an opportunity to act on a large scale - in a museum style, so to speak. All participants in the Textile Art Sapce are presented in the catalog. In addition, the following two fees apply per participant: Integration in the online edition of the fair: includes inclusion in our online version of the art fair, which can be accessed online up to 12 weeks after the event = 75 € (including 3 works of art per exhibited artist) VIP access to the vernissage VIP passes = € 75 valid for 4 guests (including welcome drink and food voucher)
