Your Rider Number has been allocated to you based on the Start Wave you have requested. Please make sure you complete the medical form on the reverse of your Rider Number. The package includes four safety pins to attach your Rider Number to your outer layer so that it’s nice and visible. This package also contains two cable ties to attach your Bike Number to your handlebars. Please attach your Bike Number as it will not only be used to identify your bike, it will also be used by our professional photographer so he can upload any pictures of you to his site, should you wish to buy a memento of your challenge. If your Rider Number doesn’t arrive before the challenge, please don’t worry, as we will have spare numbers for all start waves at registration. FINDING A BED If you haven’t done so already, you may wish to book a room at a local hotel or guesthouse on the Friday and/or Saturday night. The distance you will be cycling is 62.8 miles (101km) with 3,663ft of climbing and 3,911ft of descending. ∙ There will be directional signage throughout the whole of the course (see next page for examples) and some marshals at key junctions. See below for some examples. ∙ We recommend you have working lights in case it is dark on the day. ∙ There will be two rolling Feed Stations after 15 and 45 miles. Here you will be able to fill up with water and collect some snacks. Please try not to wait too long at these Feed Stations and only stop if you want to. ∙ On top of the two rolling Feed Stations there will be a lunch stop at East Grinstead Rugby Club at around 30 miles. Here, we will have covered seating and a packed lunch containing a sandwich, crisps, fruit and cake will be provided. There will also be teas, coffees and water included and soft drinks available to buy. Whilst we love supporters, please don’t ask them to meet you here, as space is limited due to social distancing. ∙ A sweep vehicle will be helping any cyclists who decide not to complete RIDE ANGELS the course. It is a non-competitive ride. ∙ Please cycle single file or maximum two abreast. ∙ Red means STOP – do not jump traffic lights. ∙ Observe the road signs: they apply to cyclists too. ∙ There are no road closures for this event, so please respect all other road users. ∙ Obey any instruction given by marshals or staff. ∙ Be prepared for adverse weather by dressing appropriately.
