After four successful tournaments in 2012 – 2013 – 2014 - 2015, the Royal Belgian Golf Federation will organise a 5th
edition of the International Belgian Golf Championship for Boys and Girls U14 2016. The Belgian International Golf
Championship for Boys and Girls U14 will be held from 7th to 9th July 2016 at Royal Waterloo Golf Club nearby
Brussels.
To assist you with your planning, the attached details contain important information. We would be grateful if you
return all those documents to bigcu14@golfwaterloo.be.

2. GENERAL INFORMATION

ENTRIES
Entries will be accepted from female and male players who are members of a recognised Golf Union.
AGE LIMIT: born in 2002 or later
HCP LIMIT: Girls : 24.4 Boys : 16.4
The player’s National Golf Union must certify the exact handicap at the closing date.
LIMITATION OF ENTRIES – 120 PLAYERS ( 36 Girls, 84 Boys)
• Girls: 36 players max.
# 27 entries will be decided using:
- the lowest exact handicaps all Nations taken into account at the closing date
# In addition to the limit number of 27 entries:
- 9 Belgian players selected by RBGF
• Boys: 84 players max.
# 69 entries will be decided using:
- the lowest exact handicaps all Nations taken into account at the closing date
# In addition to the limit number of 69 entries:
- 15 Belgian players selected by RBGF

Final entry list will be published on the website of the Royal Belgian Golf Federation and Royal Waterloo Golf Club on
the Thursday 9th of June 2016.
ENTRY FORM must be sent to the RBGF not later than the 7th of June 2016 at 23:00.
ENTRY FEE must be paid upon registration
125€ per player including:
- practice and championship rounds
- lunch at Royal Waterloo GC for the 5 days
- transportation from and to Brussels airport (from Monday 4th of July at 14:00 until Tuesday 5th July 12:00)
- transportation from and to official hotel
- transportation from and to golf club
75€ per official including:
- lunch at Royal Waterloo GC for the 5 days

CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE
Monday 4th of July arrival of players
Tuesday 5th of July 1st practice round – player registration

Saturday 9th of July Final round – Closing ceremony
REGISTRATION
All players must have registered and paid his entry fee in the Tournament Office at the Golf Club before 6th of July 12:00.
A competitor who does not register up to this date and time is liable to be withdrawn from the Championship. If a player is
unable to register in person, a registration by another person, via fax or e-mail will be accepted.
PRIZES
The RBGF shall present the first 3 teams of the Nations’ Cup with a memento

3. CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION
INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Stroke play - 54 holes / 18 holes per day - 7-9 July 2016
In the event of a tie for the first place, a hole-by-hole play-off stroke play will be organized until a winner has been decided. The
holes that will be used for the play-off are to be decided by the Tournament Committee. All other ties will be decided by

matching scorecards (last 18, last 9, last 6, last 3 and last hole). If this method does not produce an outcome, lot will decide the
ties.
NATIONS’ CUP
Eligible for play of the Nations’ Cup are teams of three or four players, who entered the competition before closing date and
have been nominated by their National Golf Union either in advance to the RBGF Office or up to the day before the
Championship until 03:00 p.m. in the Tournament Office at the Golf Club.
Each country may enter one team of 4 players (boys or girls or mixed).
Players who are selected by their Federation to play the Nations Cup, are assured to play the competition.
54 holes stroke-play teams’ event – 7-9 July 2016
A tie for any place in the Nations’ Cup shall be decided using:
1. the lowest total of the three lowest scores, one from each day.
2. the sum of the three lowest non-counting scores
3. the best team score of round 3
4. the best team score of round 2
5. the best team score of round 1
Any further tie will be decided based on the final stipulated 18, 9, 6, 3 holes or last hole of the best score from each of the tied
teams.
PRACTICE
Only registered players will be permitted to practice during the official practice rounds and in official practice areas.
CADDIES – ELECTRIC GOLF TROLLEYS
a) No caddies are permitted
b) Electric golf trolleys are not permitted.
Two strokes for each hole at which any breach occurred; maximum penalty per round: four strokes. In the event of a breach
between the play of two holes, the penalty applies to the next hole.
For b) Use of any unauthorised form of electric golf trolley shall be discontinued player having a caddie in breach with this
