FAQs Which course should I choose if I am undecided about which leadership I want to specialise in? You can start with the frameworks themselves. They all include ‘learn that’ and ‘learn how to statements.’ This can help you to un- derstand what you might want to learn for your current role or role that you’d like in the future. there is also a video of Kay Shepherd, director of the Teaching School Hub, talking through who the Lead- ership NPQs would be perfect for. How will I know if I am eligable for a scholarship? If you’re unsure if you are eligable for a scholarship give us a call or email at the Teaching School Hub and we can check for you. How do participants access NPQ curriculum content or track their progress? This will vary by provider but for us , you will use StepLab . It’s an easy to use online tool, that tracks progress in real-time. If someone started a funded NPQH under the old framework, but withdrew before completion, would they be eligible for funding for a new NPQH? We don’t know yet, full information on funding will be released in Autumn 2021. When do these NPQs start? All NPQs are starting in November 2021. If I have alot of staff on NPQs will this mean alot of cover and disruption for the school? No, unlike the previous NPQs, these are not project based mean- ing other staff do not have to carry out projects to support partic- ipants, the Teaching School Hub has also scheduled all clinics to be online from 4-6pm to be within the working day but outside of class teaching time to minimise the impact on pupils. Is the application form long? Not at all, we just need a few details and a short summary para- graph about why you are applying for that particualr NPQ.
