Introducing the 2018-2019 BBA Law Student Forum Advisory Committee! Suffolk University Law School CAMPUS OUTREACH CO-CHAIR | Brittney Fulkerson McCartney Brittney McCartney is a 2L at Suffolk University Law School. She is anticipated to graduate in May 2020 and she is leaning towards working in the public sector, preferably the Attorney General’s Office dealing with criminal matters. A cool fact about Brittney is that she’s been on TV a few times in the audience at events like: the VMA’s, Peoples Court and Lip Sync Battle. CAMPUS OUTREAC H CO-CHAIR | Katherine R. Beilin Katherine Beilin is a first-year law student at Suffolk University Law School, graduation anticipated in 2021. She is particularly interested in Education and Family Law. One fun fact is that she played Division 1 field hockey for Rutgers University! COMMUNICATIONS CHAIR | Lauren A. Sabino Lauren Sabino is a third-year JD candidate at Suffolk University Law School where she is concentrating in Intellectual Property Law. She hopes to pursue a career in trademark law upon graduation in 2019. She is also interested in Trusts and Estate law. Lauren loves to travel and has explored 16 different countries to date.

Suffolk University Law School PUBLIC INTEREST CHAIR | Jeremy Siegel Jeremy Siegel is a 2nd year law student at Suffolk University, and with an anticipated graduation date of May 2020. He is primarily interested in corporate law working with emerging companies, in addition to Venture Capital, Private Equity, and M&A work. Prior to starting at Suffolk Law, he worked in the craft beer industry and the technology industry. PUBLIC INTEREST CHAIR | Thomas Barry Tom Barry is a fourth-year evening student at Suffolk University Law School and, during the day, he works full-time at the U.S. Attorney's Office in Boston. He will graduate in May 2019 and is interested in Criminal Law and Probate Law. In his spare time, Tom enjoys playing golf and running marathons. Tom also has a twin brother who works in Investment Banking here in Boston.
Introducing the 2018-2019 BBA Law Student Forum Advisory Committee! New England Law | Boston CAMPUS OUTREACH CO-CHAIR | Philjay S. Solar Philjay S. Solar is a 3L at New England Law | Boston. He is a Boston native and has grown up in Massachusetts his whole life. After Law School, Philjay intends to get into Government Law such as being general counsel for a Federal or State Agency. One fact about Philjay is that he recently attended the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit in Boston last week as a Forbes Fellow. CAMPUS OUTREACH CO-CHAIR | Benjamin W Cabezas Benjamin W. Cabezas is a first-year Juris Doctor student at New England Law | Boston with the class of 2021. He has an interest in International, Business, and Immigration Law. A Costa Rican native he grew up in Portland, Maine before receiving his Associate of Arts in business management in 2012 from Landmark College in Putney, Vermont and his Bachelor of Science in business administration in 2014 from American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Boston College Law School CAMPUS OUTREACH CO-CHAIR | Ashley Lajoie Ashley is a 1L at Boston College Law School and will be graduating in the Spring of 2021. She is interested in corporate law. In her free time, she enjoys trivia and ballroom dancing. CAMPUS OUTREACH CO-CHAIR | Simon Jerome Simon Jerome is a student in the Class of 2021 at Boston College Law School. Having spent four years at an international development nonprofit in Washington, DC, he's interested in administrative/regulatory and international law. Outside of law school, he loves competing in triathlons, trail runs, and hiking. COMMUNICATIONS CHAIR | Panos Melisaris Panos Melisaris is a second year at Boston College Law School. He is interested in servicing clients' legal needs stemming from financial and investment transactions. His current courses include Banking Regulation, Consumer Finance Protection, Real Estate Transactions and Finance, and Tax. In his free time, Panos enjoys making music, going hiking, and playing basketball.

Boston College Law School COMMUNICATIONS CHAIR | Brian Mahoney Brian Mahoney is a member of the Boston College Law School Class of 2020 interested in pursuing a career in criminal law after graduation. Brian is from South Boston and attended Boston Latin School ('11) and then Cornell University ('15). PUBLIC INTEREST CHAIR | Mitchell Carney Mitchell Carney is currently a 1L at Boston College Law School and expected to graduate in the Spring of 2021. He hopes to work in public interest law with a focus on civil rights litigation and criminal law. Mitchell lives in Roslindale with his fiancé and their dog, Coach Taylor, who is lovingly named after the Friday Night Lights protagonist.

Northeastern University School of Law CAMPUS OUTREACH CO-CHAIR | Chimene Cooper Chimene Cooper is a member of the Class of 2021 at Northeastern University School of Law. She is interested in employment law, trust & estates, and mergers & acquisitions law. She also has a strong interest in wrongful conviction and immigration pro-bono work. A fun fact about Chimene is that she lived in Italy. CAMPUS OUTREACH CO-CHAIR | Emma Tello Emma Tello is a 2L at Northeastern University, graduating in 2020. She is interested in environmental law and corporate law, and plan on concentrating in Intellectual Property. In her free time Emma likes to play with her cats and dog or ride her horse. COMMUNICATIONS CHAIR | Julia Blackburn Otero Julia is a third-year student at Northeastern School of Law. She is committed to pursuing a career in business restructuring. During law school Julia has had the opportunity to intern for Bankruptcy Judge Frank J. Bailey, Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing, and for with the six U.S. bankruptcy judges in the District of Delaware as the Thomas L. Ambro Fellow. Upon graduation Julia will clerk for U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Diane Finkle in the District of Rhode Island. One cool fact about Julia is that English is her second language and she is always talking about Boston Ballet's season.

Northeastern University School of Law PUBLIC INTEREST CHAIR | Timothy Sheble-Hall Tim is a third-year law student at Northeastern University School of Law. He is interested in environmental, energy, land use, and municipal law. He grew up on a sheep farm in Massachusetts and is passionate about agriculture. PUBLIC INTEREST CHAIR | Sean Paulsen Sean Paulsen is a 2L at the Northeastern University School of Law. Sean is primarily interested in criminal defense, public interest litigation, federal courts, and criminal justice reform. His first job out of college was as a debate coach for a high school team in Birmingham, AL--they won the state championship!

Boston University School of Law CAMPUS OUTREACH CO-CHAIR | Alexander Hernandez Alex Hernandez is a 1L student at the Boston University School of Law and plans to graduate in 2021. Alex is interested in studying technology law, international trade law, and corporate transactional law. Before attending law school, Alex was a technology consultant advising in the petrochemical and nuclear power generation industries. CAMPUS OUTREACH CO-CHAIR | Jessa Boubker Jessa Boubker is a member of the class of 2021 at BU School of Law. After graduating from Smith College in 2015 as a medieval studies major, Jessa worked at Best Buddies MA until coming to law school. She is interested in continuing to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through disability law and health law. CAMPUS OUTREACH CO-CHAIR | Olivia Griffin Olivia Griffin is a first-year student at Boston University School of Law and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She is interested in international law and previously worked for the United Nations' High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland.

Boston University School of Law CAMPUS OUTREACH CO-CHAIR | Kevin Brown Kevin Brown is a 2021 J.D. candidate at Boston University School of Law. He plans on exploring tax, M&A, and ERISA. Prior to taking up legal study, he earned a M.A. in Literature from the Bread Loaf School of English and taught English for 6 years at independent schools around the Northeast.
